I can't live without this product... | i have worked as a flight attendant for 22 years. the humidity on the airplane is 3 percent. this cream is why my eyes don't look like a road map. it is the best undereye cream out there. i try other things but always go back to it. i also use zelens eye cream at night. the lancome is more for moisture and the zelens as a treatment and moisture.also i am totally addicted to creme de la mer. it is a miracle cream.my daughter got a sunburn and it just took the red out and totally "healed" her skin.
I like "lancome progres eye cream and creme de la mer" (Others who like it too...isabeldiaz ) Leave a comment or review | 1 reviews or comments |
I wouldn't die, but I would suffer greatly without this product... bare minerals makeup and eyelash extensions i can not believe how many compliments i am getting on my skin since i am using bare minerals. it does take a few days to really get the hang of this new kind of foundation. one of the best things about it is it doesn't settle into your lines. your face gets kind of a glow about it.with eyelash extensions you never have to wear mascara and you wake up with dark lashes.the only thing is once you have them you never want to go back!

Without this product, I'd have to start drinking at noon ;-) ... smashbox primer My secret beauty recipe and best makeup tips... oxygen facials, lancome eye cream, zelens eye cream, bare minerals makeup, smashbox primer, anything by benefit!ok here is the big secret-i shave my face! i have terrible peach fuzz.i don't wax because i use so many acids on my face it would rip the skin off. i also think waxing pulls on delicate facial skin. i have been shaving my face for over 10 years. people think i am crazy but its no big deal. my husband is used to it now. the first time he walked in and i was all lathered up he was a bit concerned! also baby powder or bumble and bumble powder in your hair for more volume or if your roots are past due or you look a little oily.oh did i mention botox and juvaderm? How long does it really take me to get ready? What's my beauty routine? one hour or if there is major exfoliation to do two hours! While Meg's mom used to give her at-home perms, my most mortifying makeup moment is... going out and fogetting my touch up bag in my purse! oh and in elementary school when my mom put 100 pink sponge curlers in my hair and then made me go to school looking like shirley temple! i need to remind her of that day!My celebrity doppelganger (or so I'm told sometimes) is... julie christie and elizabeth montgomery-notice they are either really old or dead?

finnanagan says, wish i could relax, but i have to go to memphis this weekend for a family thing, maybe next week i can relax, but i doubt it...i don't mind, i love being a busy person....
finnanagan says, Yes I did survive!!! Had the most fabulous time...And yes, I did see old boyfriends and they seemed impressed...My husband was proud of me, and Slade was a big hit at the ballgame....I am sooo glad I went, I reconnected with so many people that I've been missing for many years....My old college roomate and I have talked everyday since, I am so happy to have these people back in my life...Just sad that I haven't done it sooner....
finnanagan says, Just wanted to give you an update...First, I went and bought a 'cheapo' version of the mineral makeup (NYC), and couldn't beleive how much I liked it...I used it tonight before the "High School Homecoming Football Game" portion of my reunion...didn't even have to use concealer! I'm sold...Then, as promised, I talked my Mom out of her Bare Minerals, but it's really Sheer Cover, I think. Thanks so much for urging me to give it another shot, Champ will be so proud...The game was a success BTW, I'll update you next week on the rest.
champ3377 says, SHOOT ME--My head is hurting and I just checked your profile. It's mineral makeup! I love it. I hate when I'm an idiot, but the pain makes me goofy.
champ3377 says, Sorry, it's not the eyelashes, although I noted them. When you work in industry and then teach for nearly twenty years, you develop a "sixth sense" about people's personalities--so I WAS right! Okay, dish, please: What foundation do you use to glow as you do? It's incredibly beautiful. You are more than precious! Thanks and God Bless, Gigi
champ3377 says, You're going to think I'm completely "whacked," but I saw compassion for others and kindness in your eyes on your profile picture the first time I viewed it. That's just ONE of the reasons you are luminous . . . Again, thanks. It's so good to speak to someone who understands.
champ3377 says, I appreciate your concern greatly. It's the Lord and women like you who are helping me "hang in." I'm so honored to be at this site. Two days ago I received a get well card from my school's administration and all of the teachers wrote a personal message. I cried. I miss them and my students. I can't explain how imperative support is for me now. Thanks and God Bless, Gigi
finnanagan says, I have decided to talk my Mom out of her Bare Minerals, She doesn't use it anyway....I took one of the sweaters back tonight because my husband said he didn't think the color was right, so I went to Kohl's and found an even better one...cranberry, to go with these FABULOUS boots I found at a consignment shop today, they were BRAND NEW and 17$, brown leather shoe part and the top brown suede....Love them. I'm not freaking out really about the reunion as much as the football game. The invite said that there would be a section of the bleachers roped off for us, my luck it will be on the far end, so you have to walk in front of everyone to get to your seat. I will be having at least a six pack before I go and possibly a Xanax... My son has been going through the terrible two's since the day he was born, he will be three in Jan. I'm sure he will not disappoint, which will be hilarious to my former teachers...I'm really looking forward to it, otherwise I wouldn't go. I'm going to have a good time, no matter what... There is bound to be a few cool people left in that one horse town ( and it just died BTW) I'll be sure and let you know how it went, thanks so much for all the advice, encouragement, and compliments...But you are the one who is beautiful, inside and out... Hugs...Finn
finnanagan says, Yes, I did find a Sephora in Little Rock at JC Penneys, I haven't been there yet...To be perfectly honest I had never heard of it until I joined this site. I had to google it to find out what it was. It appears to be pretty fancy shmancy, I saw something about needing an appointment. How much is this gonna cost me? My class consisted of a whole 63 people and so far I know at least four of them are dead. No old flames in my class, I wouldn't have dared....I only dated older guys, I wish since we do have such a small class that we would have combined like 1986-1989. That's where the old flames would be... I imagine I will however see some old flames at the ballgame Friday night. I hope they all get in big fights with their wives when they get home....Ha ha. I've been stressing wardrobe for the past two weeks. I wish like hell I could get this site to add more pictures, but I can't do anything but change my profile picture. The first boy I ever kissed will be there, but he ended up marrying one of my best friends, and they've been married for 20 years. I wouldn't have him on a silver platter....All my exes were in the class before me and the one before that. I am more concerned what the girls think than anything else, the guys are TOO EASY to impress, just a padded bra and some tight jeans is all that will take. Ha ha. I was worried about not having anything to wear, and now I can't make up my mind what to wear, due to my recent shopping sprees...It will be totally casual, which suits me fine, because I honestly look better in jeans than anything else. I hava a pair of dark denim Cache's that my 20 year old cousin gave me. I just can't decide whether to wear them to the game or to the get together that we are having the next night. Your a blonde, do you love wearing black? I do. I just feel comfortable in it. I bought two new sweaters the other day, the exact same sweater only in two colors, fushia, and black. Think anyone would notice if I wore one Friday and the other Saturday? I don't know why I care, these people have never heard of Cache. We're talking McCrory Arkansas here....Population 1800. I've just had some real bad luck career wise and in my personal life since our last reunion, and I know people are anxious to see how I have survived it all. I feel sure they will be shocked and surprised. My husband tells me I look better now than I have ever looked. We'll see.
finnanagan says, Okay carol b ruthie, I'm going to shave my face with a real razor and shaving cream and go get me some damn bare minerals....if I look like "Tales from the Crypt" at my class reunion, your in big trouble...Does it have to be ''bare minerals'' the brand or can it be just any kind of mineral makeup that you apply with a brush? My Mom ordered that Leeza Gibbons stuff off the TV, that's the only one I've tried and only once. What is another kind that's just as good? That I can go buy today, because my reunion is THIS WEEKEND?
finnanagan says, Hey there...I have a question for you, you said you shaved your face...I do this also but only with an electric beard trimmer. I was wondering how you do it? How often? If I have an event coming up, when should I shave, so I don't have skin irritations due to it?
champ3377 says, Ruthie, so sorry for taking a long time to get back to you! Actually, the constant pain in my head is due to five eye diseases. All are correctable, but doctors are trying to agree on what to do first. It is so bad that I had to take an unpaid leave from my teaching job. Cataract surgery and then follow-up surgery actually made it worse! My vision isn't nearly as bad as my head. I appreciate your answering. You have the most gorgeous smile! God Bless, Gigi
champ3377 says, Forgive me for taking so long to respond. I have out-of-control, "killer" headaches from light, but doctors are narrowing down the sources. Evidently, my eyes absorb SIXTEEN times more light than do those of other people. I truly appreciate your support--I DO go to Meg's when I need a distraction and lift. Thanks and God Bless, Gigi
champ3377 says, How are you? It's been a long time. I had several eye appointments and am in a lot of pain, but I wanted to say hello. Miss you! God Bless, Gigi
finnanagan says, Hey you...try this for flat hair: Simmer a can of beer on the stove until it cooks down to 1/4 of what you started with, pour it into one cup of shampoo and wash. Talk about bounce...I barely styled at all that day. It says that you don't have to refridgerate the leftovers, but my Mom came over that day and used it, then we just threw the rest away, but I will definately do it again. Let me know if you try it.
finnanagan says, So, I guess you went to Harding College.... I lived in an apartment on Market Street, right on the Harding Campus. It was my favorite place that I lived while living in Searcy. I moved to Searcy right after I graduated college at ASU Jonesboro. I lived in Searcy for 7 years before moving to Benton. I was born in Memphis, TN, but grew up in a very small town in Arkansas (McCrory) you probably never heard of it. Population: 1800. Searcy was the Metropolis to us. The closest Wal-Mart from McCrory, where I grew up, we only had one grocery store and it took 20 min. to get to it. There were 63 of us in my graduating class. Most of us went to school together from Kindergarden thru 12th grade. Talk about being a "country girl, hick chick" yeah that's me.... I like Benton A WHOLE LOT better than Searcy. But a lot of people from all over the world go to Harding. Small world, huh. A couple of my Mom's friends went to school there, but they would be quite a bit older than you. Thanks for the message, hope to hear back from you.
finnanagan says, I'm cute?NOOO, You are cute...You don't look a day over 35. I can't beleive it, someone else shaves their peach fuzz too. After the Nair incident I went electric. I use my husband's beard trimmer now. I've been afraid to shave too close, so I just cut it down real short. You can't see the stubble but you can feel it, I kinda like it. My sun damaged skin looks better without the peach fuzz...psst...I did the same thing on my arms the other day...shhh.ha ha.
champ3377 says, I actually CAN write. That was to have read: "Thus, if it were sold . . ." I'm a moron.
champ3377 says, Ruthie--thanks much! That's why I was confused. I remember taking a tour of the gems in a museum in Pittsburgh, and the aquamarine they had on display was the "perfect" color, according to aquamarine standards. Thus, it were sold, it would have been more expensive than a comparable diamond. I just get frustrated when I can't find it. Your input is more than appreciated; may I call on your expertise again? God Bless, Gigi
croman says, Hi Ruth - thanks for your post on Murad - glad to hear you are a fan and love his cellulite book! xoxo Caroline
