About Me
I am obsessed with beauty blogs and products and I've been reading Meg's for a while. Even if I don't wear that much of it, I love make-up and I love buying it.

I can't live without this product...

I wouldn't have heard about the Clarisonic if it hadn't been for Meg's. I've used it with several different cleansers and it's improved the effectiveness of all of them, in addition to improving my skin's overall appearance.
I like "Clarisonic" (Others who like it too...none yet)

I wouldn't die, but I would suffer greatly without this product...

Murad Acne Complex Kit

I was using the Neutrogena acne kit for a while with success, but unfortunately, my skin seemed to stop responding to the benzoyl peroxide. I've been using Murad's for about two weeks and LOVE it. I don't have any new blemishes since using the products. I've heard a mix of bad and good reviews, but am, fortunately, on the latter end of these. My mom's acne persisted until around 17-18 years of age, so I think that I've found a system that'll carry me through the next year or two if genetics pull through. ;)

Without this product, I'd have to start drinking at noon ;-) ...

Banana Boat SunWear Faces SPF 30

Since switching from a MAC tinted moisturizer with an SPF to a foundation without one, I needed something to protect my skin from the rays. This almost works like a primer, doesn't cause me to breakout, and mattifies my skin after moisturizer and before foundation application. It has a light, pleasant, non-sunscreenesque scent. LOVE it.

My secret beauty recipe and best makeup tips...

Tea tree oil (I found this secret on Meg's) works great on pimples. Vaseline works well as an eye make-up remover. I recommend using make-up brushes over your fingers, and great (and relatively cheap) ones can be purchased in craft/art stores.

How long does it really take me to get ready? What's my beauty routine?

My day to day make-up routine takes me 5-10 minutes. Getting glam with hair, make-up, etc. takes me about an hour.

While Meg's mom used to give her at-home perms, my most mortifying makeup moment is...

Over-plucking my eyebrows or over bronzing. A little bit of both goes a long way.

My celebrity doppelganger (or so I'm told sometimes) is...

I've been told Jennifer Garner, Geena Davis, Katherine Heigl, Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron and Agnes Bruckner (the girl from Blood & Chocolate). None of these celebrities look a lot alike so I'm not sure if I look like any of them. I'm fine with just looking like me.
