I am disabled now with end stage liver disease, so I had to leave the working world 14 yrs ago, ( I hate it, and miss working) As a result I don't get out of the house much, so that when I do get out I MUST look my best! It was the late 60's, and I was fast approching puberty. White frosted lipstick was all the rage, so I saved and saved and then made the trip to Ben Franklin, and bought the coveted White lipstick!! I can still picture myself, with blonde hair, black rimmed glasses and white lips...oh what a sight NOT to behold!! My parents kept straight faces however, and let me do my thing! |
