About Me:

I love trying new beauty products. I am very conscious about my skin, moisturizers, cleansers, pore refiners and everything in-between. I have super curly hair and its about waist length, shampoo's and conditioners are always next in line. I have change my whole hair care regamin, for the past 6 weeks I've been using WEN hair care system. WOW...I never thought I could be this head over heels about a hair care product! I bought the 5 pk. and after trying them I've settled on the Lavender. I use the hair mask, the styling cream and of course the cleansing conditioner. My eye make-up is now Mally. I love the eyeliner and the mascara is amazing...seriously amazing! My foundation is Laure Gellar, I use the real Deal concealer and then the Phenomenal foundation. The concealer is so good! good-bye under darkness!! Just a dab will do your entire face, just amazing! I have just started using Make-up Forever, by Sephora, tinted primer in green. It tones down the redness considerably! I like that alot. I love megs make-up and all the helpful~insightful reviews, this web site is a womans best friend! My Beauty Secret:

my best beauty tip is drink tons of water, no smoking and keep alcohol consuption to a minimum and don't forget your sunblock. My next biggest beauty secret is....Megs Make-up !! Everyday I read something wonderful...it might be a beauty tip, it might be a product for wrinkles or a skin care secret met to be shared with everyone...I tell all my friends about this site and I check in several times a day just to make sure I don't miss anything.

My Routine:

Winters cold and dryness is in full swing now so my facial care is changing a little and my make-up has totally changed. I use Murad facial cleanser & My Clairsonic to get the dirt of the day off my face. My make-up is Hourglass illusion, its a tinted moisturizer..I've been using jose maran argan oil all over my face. I also use jose maran Bear Naked Wipes for eye make-up removal. My eye shadows, eyeliner & mascara is by Mally. I really like her line of eye cosmetics. The eyeliner is dark and rich and it stays put! ALL DAY, amazing...the mascara makes my eyelashes look like I've got falsies on! I use 3 coats of mascara and I'm good to go. After I apply Laura Geller make-up I always top off with a dusting of bare Minerals translucent . I still use a little rogaine for women on my eyebrows, they've filled in nicely...though it did'nt happen over night all good things come to those who are patient. To get Glam I'd need a few hours, I am including fixing my hair and everything. To roll out of bed and get ready for work I only need about 20 minutes.

My Horror Story:

My most mortifying make-up monent was when I was about 14 yrs. old and I begged my mother to let me get my hair chemicaly straightened, she finally relented and it looked TERRIABLE ! I thought I would just die! but in the 70's straight hair was "in", As I got older I learned how to style my hair what products worked best. Now its all good.

My Celebrity Look-a-like:

I have been told Amy Irving is my celeb. look alike, I love her hair! but I used to think I looked like Phylis Diller....OMG...LOL

Fav Product #1
I can't live without this product...

WEN Hair Care system...ROCKS!

WEN hair car is my *new* favorite hair care product line.  I have tried them all and Lavender is the formula for my hair.  The mask and styling cream along with the styling spray make my hair look like a million bucks.  My hair is very curly, there are times when i want to amp up the curl effect and to get the "look" I use "Got 2 Be kinkier" its a curling mousse.  After I cleanse my hair with Wen pomagranet I rinse my ahir with ice cold water. I get out of the shower and then I turn on the faucet in the tub so I can get the icy cold water rinse, then I towl dry my hair and gently de-tangle my hair using my fingers. Then I give my hair 2 med.

I wouldn't die, but I would suffer greatly without this product...

Jose Maran~Sephora~Lipstick Queen

A few years ago I was introduced to Agran oil, NOW i just could not imagine using anything else on my face as a moisturizer. I am a big fan of tinted moisturizers and Jose Maran has a tinted moisturizer with argan oil in it, I tried it and I LOVE it!! I also on occasion use Hourglass tinted moisturizer.  I get the coverage I desire and I look totaly natural.  I have started using Sephora Make-up Forever tinted primer, I use the green tint. It tones down the redness. I have also used Smashbox tinted face primer in green. I use Mally mascara, Mally eye liner in midnight and lucky penny daily, it stays where I put it...I like that! My lipstick is Poppy King "Lipstick Queen", its a wonderful lipstick.

Without this product, I'd have to start drinking at noon ;-)

Lipstick addict...thats me!

Yes....yes its true, I am crazy about lipsticks. I have so many I sometimes feel foolish, LOLMy favorite is Poppy King, I really like the "Saint" line.  There is "Saint" and "Sinners"Its smooth, last almost all day (depends on what I've been eating) the colors are rich and they're matte that's what I like the most.  I apply in the morn right before I leave for work and I don't need a touch up until after the noon hour! I love the lip liner because it keeps my lipsticks from running into those fine lines around my lips! Poppy King also has a book about her adventure into creating her own lipstick line, I read it...its very informative, I recomend it to everyone.
