| My Routine: |
Straight to business. for an oily girl, I use a lot of moisturizers - body lotion, face cream, eye cream, hand lotion, cuticle cream...Then I put on primer, maybe a color corrector, then my foundation using a fluffy kabuki brush. I always wear tons of blush, eyeliner, and as much mascara as I can load on without getting clumped lashes. I love tinted lip balms |
| My Horror Story: |
all those mis-matched foundations < shudder > |
Avon Anew
I've been using Avon Anew since it was first introduced. I haven't got great skin, but this has really helped keep wrinkles at bay. Whenever I try something new, I always return to Anew.
Avon Glimmersticks Eye Liner
I've been using these since college when I didn't know anything about make-up, but I knew I needed eyeliner! Glimmersticks are soft and smooth and can be applied without tugging or pulling. My HG is Cosmic Brown, and I use Saturn Grey a lot too. I'm terribly bitter that Majestic Plum has been discontinued, but I'll get over it.I use a lot of mineral makeup these days and I experiment with wet-lining my minerals, but when I want a classic look, I use my Glimmersticks.
Mineral Foundation
I have a few favorites: Lucy Minerals, Silk Naturals, and Lumiere. Most drugstore and high-end foundations are either too dark or too pink, so mineral makeup works better for me because it's much easier to find a color to match or to mix one up for myself. Since I'm oily, it's also easier for touch ups.
