| My Beauty Secret: |
Water, exercise, and sex are the most important things for looking your best. |
| My Routine: |
On a work day, I'm out the door in less than an hour - that includes showering and blow drying (I exercise so I wash or at least wet my hair every day). For a night out I'll spend a little more time on eye makeup, but I can still be ready in about an hour. |
| My Horror Story: |
Stupidest thing I did to myself as an adult was get a perm. I have naturally wavy hair that apparently REALLY holds a curl, because I looked like a poodle for what felt like a year. It just wouldn't grow out. And I have a bad habit of trimming my own bangs. |

Origins Multigrain Makeup
I love this mineral foundation, I think it is better than Bare Escentuals. It gives great coverage without ever looking cakey, and has a really nice (but not overdone) sheen to it that looks very natural. I have oily skin, and I can put this on in the morning and leave it ALL day with hardly any touch-ups.
Sephora Natural Matte Blotting Papers
As someone with oily skin, I cannot live with these blotting papers. They soak up excess oil without messing up my makeup. Plus they don't take up a lot of room. I also find that most pressed powders turn color, and I think they lead to breakouts (possibly not true, but who knows), so I prefer the blotting papers. Sephora's a very inexpensive - like $8 for 100.
Aveda Lip Tint SPF 15 in Verbena
I'm bummed, because I think this color has been discontinued (it's not available online). This color is one of those, "like lips only better" colors. It's great for the gym or the beach, when you (okay I) want a little color but don't want to look made up. And it's good for your lips. A similar product that I like is Origins Smileage Plus Sheer liptint in Vintage.
