| About Me: |
Hi! I'm a soon to be graduating college student with a soft spot for makeup and all things pretty (or things that make me pretty)!! I like to focus on my eyes, but am slowly learning to branch out into other areas of beauty, including taking care of my skin (in highschool I avoided sunscreen like the plague, but now I never go in the sun without sunscreen on my face)! I LOVE nail polish, and have always wanted to have long, beautiful nails, but I also happen to be a piano teacher so long nails are a no-no :( I started a blog in which I mostly focus on nail polish, and hopefully will have more makeup reviews soon (which will mostly be of drugstore brands..because I am poor :P ). I also post giveaway alerts on there from other blogs. Thanks for visiting! ♥ http://twitter.com/polishmakeup |

| My Routine: |
For everyday, usually 20-30 minutes. If I'm preparing for something special, it can take me a veeerrryyy long time. It can be over 2 hours...(with breaks in between, but I just keep going back and tweaking..and tweaking..) |
| My Horror Story: |
When I was younger, I got convinced to cut off all my hair so me and my cousin (also a girl) would have matching hair cuts and look like "twins" for a photoshoot.. |
| My Celebrity Look-a-like: |
Only time anyone ever told me I looked like someone (other than stereotypical Lucy Liu..only because I'm asian) was Kirsten Dunst. I look absolutely NOTHING like her though (neither of them). |
Estee Lauder - Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher
I love this product! I've always had kind of large pores in my nose and more recently in the area on each side of my nose, and this really helps my foundation go on looking perfect. After applying it, your skin just feels super smooth as well. I haven't used many other brands of pore minimizers but I tried this once and have loved it ever since.
L'Oreal - Telescopic Mascara - Carbon Black
I have tried dozens of drug store mascaras and a few department store (primarily Estee Lauder), and my most recent favorite will have to be L'Oreal's Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black. The brush was a bit funny to use at first, but I'm growing to like it more (I also tried the "Clean Definition" version of L'Oreal's Telescopic mascara, which has an entirely different brush. I don't particularly like that one, and it has also dried up rather quickly after only a couple weeks of minimal use).
L'Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil
Oh how I LOVE this oil!!! I first purchased the shower oil version of this. It was lovely, but I really like to be able to oil up my skin and not have to wash it off. (Also, somehow my bf got his hands on it and he never recaps it and now there is water in side the bottle...I don't like to use it anymore.)This product smells great, works great, and does not leave a greasy residue. The oil absorbs pretty well, but I always like a little bit of sheen (especially on the arms and legs) for summertime.
