I'm currently going to school for my RN license, so sadly, my time for all thing beauty related has been pretty minimal lately. I've been obsessed with makeup since before I can remember. My grandma happily fueled my addiction at an early age. I'm really good friends with the lady from the MAC counter. It's probably my favorite brand, but I'm definitely branching out. I'm also a huge fan of drug store products. I love finding a good deal! I'm also obsessed with bath and body products. I'm one of those crazy people with 5 but I rea kinds of shampoo in my shower. I wish I had more free time, but I'm happy with my life. I think my second love in life is nature, I'm into hiking and just generally being outside. I spend a lot of my free time traveling when I can. Also trying to lose some weight and just generally be more healthy/health conscious. That's not panning out as well as everything else, but hey, that's life!

White shimmery shadows on the inside corners of your eyes works wonders. Also, I never leave the house without using shine serum in my hair. Those two are necessary.
It really depends on the day. At work I tend to get dirty, sweaty, and covered in things I don't want to think about; therefore, my routine is pretty minimal. Give me some concealer, mascara, and blush and I'm good to go. My hair is wavy so I just put in some shine serum, gel, and split end corrector, "sprunch" my hair and go. If I'm going out or want to look nice I almost always resort to a smokey eye. I love them, especially if they're something more "creative" than black. Purple is definitely one of my favorites. Mascara is always a must, as is eyeliner. Blush and bronzer are usually applied those days too. Days that I want to look more put together I usually blow dry and straighten my hair. I use a spray on heat protector from Dove, shine serum, and split end corrector. Pureology makes a pretty awesome one.
|My Horror Story:||
I, too, suffer from perms. There are no pictures of me until the age of 12 where I didn't have permed hair. It was pretty dreadful. I accidentally turned my hair bright orange once during a dying incident. That mistake was expensive and kind of sucked.

I can honestly say I don't think I look like anyone famous.
While I love cosmetics, I never thought I'd find anything that changed my life. I have crappy skin, there's no way around it. I still get acne, I have big pores, I have dark circles most of the time (I work nights, joy), and usually have oil problems. This was one of my biggest cosmetic "splurges" and I have been a believer ever since. This stuff rocks. It's super matte, which is great for me since I'm oily. It comes in a ton of colors (no more mad scientist mixing!). And it covers EVERYTHING and lasts all day. It gives me confidence and makes me feel better about my skin. I am so glad I decided to give this stuff a try. I will probably die when they stop making it. Or hoard it like no other.
Plush Lash is amazingggg. It makes my lashes so big and full, not to mention long and separated. I've never had clumping issues, great wear and it never leaves me with raccoon eyes. Definitely something that's a necessary item and I use every single day.
It's orangey. Coraly. Mangoish. I don't know. It's fabulous. It's perfect for summer..and when it's not summer it makes me feel like summer :) I love the color, love the staying power, and I love that it's a multi tasker. Plus a bottle lasts for freaking EVER.
