I wouldn't die, but I would suffer greatly without this product... Fresh Chocolate Orange Shea Butter

My secret beauty recipe and best makeup tips... Bumbe and Bumble colored hair powder is amazing. It does hide the roots and adds a ton of volume! How long does it really take me to get ready? champ3377 says, Much appreciated information. I find myself using items that don't perform on my face on other areas of my body as well and at times am really pleased. I used Olay's "Total Effects" and it received a lot of positive press, as you see from the post. Many years ago, I used nothing but liquid foundation but picked up their "Total Day Radiance" powder compact version as I forgot to pack it for travel (for around $10.00, I was sure it couldn't possibly work but I needed something quickly). The product was so wonderful that nearly every time I used it someone said, "Wow, you're glowing" or said, "You must be happy--you're luminous." I could have cried when they discontinued it (I think I did). I have a major idioTsyncracy (meant that): I lost a few vanity pounds and the skin on my neck is wrinkling even though my face is pretty smooth. I don't want to wind up being served as the turkey at Thanksgiving! I've ordered thirty-day trial serums, and none have lived up to their claims. I return them and then they keep coming; once you're on "auto-ship," they try to make it for life. Your comment about your elbows not sagging is a riot!
champ3377 says, Thanks for your support and your comments about Olay. Few people diss Olay, but when you said it didn't work for you either, I made up my mind to tell the total truth, albeit in a gentle way God Bless, Gigi
champ3377 says, Karen--thanks! You should be on tour doing comedy, honestly--the way you word things is beyond funny. I was feeling bad about not raving about Olay's product, but I have to tell the truth and I truly appreciate your input. I do believe you are too hard on yourself. My sister developed a very rare form of arthritis after the birth of her youngest son (now twenty years old), and she is periodically put on steroids which cause her eyes to swell and puffiness to occur. I understand her upset over this, but I think they are more noticeable to her than anyone else. Beauty is as beauty does--your personality and wit make you beautiful already! God Bless, Gigi
champ3377 says, I am a moron without your wit! Olay's Definity line is highly regarded, but I am not wild about this particular item. Meg asked me to choose between some items to review. The one I'm reviewing supposedly helps with age spots as well as wrinkles, and thank God I have neither yet. It doesn't absorb easily and is a tad rich for my non-sensitive skin. I've used "super-powerful" products which blend flawlessly. There's a "tacky" feel after Olay's product is applied. I had my husband try it (he loves being pampered), and he's Italian with a strong complexion. I said nothing and asked him, "Do you like this?" Answer: "No." Hang onto your money for now. If you feel comfortable telling me what your main skin issues are, I'm sure I can help, as I own more beauty items than most drugstores and deparment stores sell!
champ3377 says, Still laughing (no, snorting and it's highly attractive, I know). I LOVE many of Clinique's products as well, and it's the only brand my sister can use. You have a penchant for identifying great items--"All About Eyes" is an award-winner, and "Spackle" works. Shea butter? My mother had plastic surgery on her leg after heart surgery many years ago, and the doctor sold a plethora of skin care items in his office. We asked him which ones were most effective, and he actually said, "Not those. Use Cocoa or Shea butter for maximum results." So glad you wrote back! God Bless, Gigi
champ3377 says, I realize you don't know me, but I was looking up Olay reviews (I don't want to repeat a product review on Thursday). I came across your comment on Olay's eye cream and can't stop laughing. You wrote, "Bags under my eyes? I use them to carry the groceries home from the store." THAT IS HYSTERICAL! Resurface again, please. God Bless, Gigi (DD Reviewers)

kate2004rock says, Yeah - I'm from Dallas which was the other test market for Beauty Insider so we got it the same time you did. Though we had a better deal. At first, you got a sample EVERY time you used your beauty insider card in Dallas, but that only lasted until Thankgiving. Then it changed to the $100 thing for good.
kate2004rock says, yeah - so I was off about that though. Actually, I think I was lied to by a LORAC rep. They're out and available! Oh and there's another new one thats exclusive for Beauty Insiders which will be available on wednesday, 8/9
kate2004rock says, Good to hear you're in our anti-12 step program too. You'll have some serious competition for the most dysfunctional beauty-a-holic around here. Tahsagogo has every color of M.A.C. and Urban Decay eyeshadow made. Desertdoll has over 200 lipglosses. I currently have 8 bottles of body wash and 9 different body lotions, 11 mascars, and lord knows what else, its too scary to count!
kate2004rock says, Um ok. You are TOOOO funny! Welcome!
