I can't live without this product...

If I had to choose just ONE product, I suppose I'd choose this one. It was hard to choose from TSUBAKI oil and this one but Tsubaki is more for my hair and Monoi is an ALL over oil. Plus...the Tsubaki picture was distorted and I couldnt post it without it looking crazy!
I like "Monoi Tahiti and Tsubaki oil" (Others who like it too...roxtarchic )

I wouldn't die, but I would suffer greatly without this product...

Mascara!

I just received my first tube of Imju Fiberwig Mascara and I'm in love! Even my husband said my lashes look pretty! Oh and I am back to using Merle Norman Lash lift Waterproof Marcara UNDER My Fiberwig mascara and it keeps the curl...oh so nicely!
I like "Mascara!" (Others who like it too...chalis )

Without this product, I'd have to start drinking at noon ;-) ...

Lipstick

I am a lipstick junkie. I have always been obsessed with lipsticks, lip liners, and lip glosses! Lipstick Queen, Nars, Benefit, Stila, Kat Von D, Merle Norman and many more...all lipsticks I absolutely ADORE! I also LOVE Lip Balm! Any kind of lip balm as long as it's natural and has macadamia nut oil or kukui nut oil or vitamin E or sweet almond oil...oh i love em all. i just received lavanila healthy lip butter AND healthy lip shine I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
I like "Lipstick" (Others who like it too..none yet)

My secret beauty recipe and best makeup tips...

I use oil for everything. Tsubaki (camellia flower) oil is the best for my hair, if I dont have that then I'll use Monoi Tahiti Coconut oil for my hair, face and body. I also use Clarins Face Treatment oils. I am pretty addicted to oils.....especially the ones in my french fries and pizza. Isnt french fries and pizza good for your skin? thats what i heard (from the voices in my head).

How long does it really take me to get ready? What's my beauty routine?

For work I'll take about 30 minutes for everything. When going out I can sit and savor every brush stroke, every lip line....I can take as long as 2 hours or as little as one.

While Meg's mom used to give her at-home perms, my most mortifying makeup moment is...

Every single hair cut I had when I was too young to object!! I too had the horrible Dorothy Hamill haircut and the Twiggy haircut....and oh gawd...I had some kind of "Rhoda" hair cut too.

My celebrity doppelganger (or so I'm told sometimes) is...

At one time, I was told I looked like a half Japanese snow white? Yeah...... I've been told I look like Snow White. When I was younger (in the 90210 days)I was repeatedly told I looked like a Japanese Shannen Dougherty, but hey, dont judge me.... I'm soooo much sweeter!

  • sharond says, Thank you for the info. I wonder if the price has come down some too. I bought mine in 2006, maybe even 2005. I typed the wrong year on my comments. Thanks again.

  • leslie79 says, I hear ya!!! Is yours long? Mine is just past shoulder length and I am considering cutting it really short. I just don't want to end up looking like a mushroom, because it's so thick. You know what I mean? I am curious about the oils you mentioned...I am going to have to check out the coconut oil...I LOVE the smell of coconut!!!

  • mel9 says, That is hilarious - that pic of me does look the Dexter's sister! Although according to my mom, it's a "creepy" pic and doesn't really look like me at all =). Hawaii is my favorite place on earth, by the way. When I was 16, I was actually enrolled in the Lutheran high school on Oahu and mom and I were one month away from moving there when she met her future hubby. I guess everything happens for a reason, but that's one move I regret not making often - and her too, since that marriage ended! Take care ~Mel

  • xstatic817 says, yes, i most definitely accepted! i really wish they made larger bottles of the shiseido (and, um cheaper ones). for some reason i feel rather decadent when i put in on parts other than my face. and i must ask you, what is hawaii like? my husband and i will be moving westward in a few years (we're thinking san diego) but i have a close friend who lives in maui and loves it so i'm tempted to find out more about life in hawaii (the good, bad, ugly, etc).

  • sweetassgal says, Thank you! I'll check it out right away. I, unfortunately, live in the valley here in Cali. So dry air plus dry hair equal disaster! Can't wait to try this out!

  • indianafarmwife says, Yeah – Tibetan prayer flags… they’re stretched out between my bean pole supports. I’m looking at them now. The Dalai Lama's brother lives in Bloomington and was instrumental in founding a Tibetan Cultural Center there. Did you know that lightning bugs glow when they hit your windshield?? When I was little we sometimes squeezed some for glow-in-the-dark “warrior” stripes. Nothing like playing hide and go-seek after dark in the middle of summer. That was fun.

  • indianafarmwife says, WTF!! Tropical island paradise, ample sushi, and snorkeling vs. corn and WallyWorld? OK… that’s coming from the woman whose beloved doesn’t have a passport!!! (I’m working on that - and a trip to Belize this winter.) In 5 years I’ve gone from Ann Taylor as my wardrobe staple to Carhartts… sigh. Still, it’s awfully nice to sit on the porch with Farmer Tom, playing guitar/banjo without fear of anyone hearing us. And hey!- no one questions my prayer flags anymore. :-)

  • indianafarmwife says, You’re funny! New Castle? That was rather painful, wasn’t it?! Just what kind of evil transgression did you commit to be shipped off to Indiana? I live down near the Vincennes area (SW). Oh well, at least you probably saw a lot of lightning bugs… and corn.

  • sammy says, Yes, I think there are LOTS of recipes for different ways to drink ACV. The first time I ever tried it a friend fixed it for me like tea with hot water and honey. I’ve heard of something similar with cold water and also with different fruit juices. Some people make a really dilute solution in water and drink it throughout the day. I only drink mine like a shooter so that I don’t have to worry as much about whether I’m messing up the enamel on my teeth. But I think I’m probably being overcautious. Realistically, I don’t see how drinking it at a normal speed as part of a more appealing drink can be any worse than drinking “normal” drinks like lemonade or soda.
