I can't live without this product... | Imagine an awesome tan, sculpted cheeks, rosy
apples and the glow of a six year old. We're not imagining Gisele Bundchen, we're imagining someone with a perfectly milled and colored bronzer and a really good cream blush. Cargo Bronzer is long lasting, has little bits of shimmer for a luminous face and has shades for every color of the rainbow! It even absorbs extra oiliness from my sunscreen and gives a soft glow! Depending on your tastes of color for blush, you can get every texture - translucent, matte, and very shimmery from tarte cheekstains. So long lasting and so easy to use - it works for those oily complexions who sweat off cream blush but want that "from within glow".
I like "Tarte Cheekstain + Cargo Bronzer" (Others who like it too...none yet) Leave a comment or review | No reviews or comments |
I wouldn't die, but I would suffer greatly without this product... MAC Fluidline & Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner | Eyeliner is so hard to keep right. You might be a pro at applying it, but staying power is such a biggie. I'd rather have eyeliner on a deserted islland than blush, so if i would pick one makeup item that i could not stand to have smudge - it would be eyeliner. Both gel and pencil eyeliners have gorgeous vibrant hues and neutral ones too, to be able to amp up the gorgeous in your eyes. A good dark blue or dark green eyeliner is all one really needs to make brown eyes pop and gorgeous-ify your eyes! Gorgeous-ify haha :)

Without this product, I'd have to start drinking at noon ;-) ... cleanser, sunscreen and olive oil | I like Juice Organics Brightening Cleanser. Thats all i can say. Its not expensive, and it doesn't strip moisture or make my skin peel. On the other hand it doesn't over-moisturize and oilify my skin! Just a good solid cleanser made with no soap and alot of natural extracts and juices that are good for your skin!
I'm a lazy sunscreen user. I have little to no patience to rub in a zombie-tan inducing lotion that is thick and greasy. In the summer, bronzing lotion= bronze goddess, whereas greasy sunscreen only amplifies the lack of sun = pasty vampire. No good! I love the ease of a spray sunscreen that fairly quickly absorbs, and because I always overapply to my face and eye area especially - thats always a huge deal!
Olive oil is just a great staple that everybody should have in their bathroom! Easily takes out eye makeup, and so much more. Very honestly speaking, there are fifty million different uses! For massage, eyelash treatments, eye & face & neck & hands & body moisturization, its moisturizing properties are even better than vaseline - especially for eyelashes.
I like "cleanser, sunscreen and olive oil" (Others who like it too..greenie milamaas ) Leave a comment or review | No reviews or comments |
My secret beauty recipe and best makeup tips... Take care of your health. Good health= good skin. Breakouts = something your body has to take out through your skin. Eat well, drink lots of water and excercise. I'm oversimplifying of course but pretty much thats what you have to do.
How long does it really take me to get ready? What's my beauty routine? mmm, straight to business is like 30 minutes, incuding a made up eye that used like 10 different eyeshadows! yes ofcourse. 30 minutes! While Meg's mom used to give her at-home perms, my most mortifying makeup moment is... Blessed with disgusting teenage skin - aka huge red pimples that felt incredibly at home on my forehead, I bought mac studio fix at the local mall. I went and broke out the sponge and used it to apply the powder. No buffing over with a soft brush, just disguting gross and caky powder.
My celebrity doppelganger (or so I'm told sometimes) is... Once I had dark red long hair and was wearing a black dress and was told I look like Penelope Cruz. Now that I have short black hair, Natalie Portman. I WISH! lol

champ3377 says, Hey, thanks, wise woman! I didn't try these yet but will now. God Bless, Gigi
artsyfartsy says, Yeah, I know...Lady parts...you can tell I don't chat much online. I'll have to put up the statue on my profile I thought of when I saw that symbol (blame it on my art history background) ...the goddess of fertility. If you look at her sideways you can see what I mean. I promise I'm not a pervy.
kryssanthe says, Yeah, you so need to check out the Vicky's sale online...my hubby's gonna kill me because I "checked" it out quite a few times...I should feel shame, but strangely, I do not. :)
kryssanthe says, I bought the regular Juice peel, too, and it BURNS, so I'm sticking with the organic one :) I'm nebbie and reading the other posts, you need to listen to artsy and go to the Vicky's sale...Tarte full-size cheekstains for $15.99!!! Woo-hoo!
38goingon29 says, Yeah! Another Curly Girl!!! Yes, I have been no-pooing for almost a year now. What are your favorite curly girl products? I am partial to Devacurl and Jessicurl's lines. :) Jen
artsyfartsy says, Hi there! Just wanted to say Happy New Year! Hope you had a great holiday. I peaked at your posts with Tashagogo. I don't know if it's still available but Victoria Secret sells Tarte and they had some minis (3 for 17.99) and the full size (15.99) on sale. Yes, just checked the site. Still available!! I'm about to break down and pick up the minis - never tried tarte but really want to try. Have a great weekend!! I'll be catching up since I've been MIA for about two weeks:(
tashagogo says, Dani...at sephora.com they have a tarte cheekstain set of 3 mini's called ...we wish you happiness. I would go with that. The regular size is really huge and it doesn't apply as easily as the mini's do. I have about 10 mini's and I love them so much. They last forever and they are so portable.
tashagogo says, My absolute favorite is tarte...but not everyone likes the feeling of it...it's a bit on the sticky side. I haven't found anything that gives me that youthful glow like it does. I love the color tipsy...I have about 10 of them and they're all awesome!!! I also like cream blushes...revlon makes a really nice one...my friend Kryssanthe sent me one in a beautiful cherry red color...I love it. Stila convertible color in lillium is gorgeous..it's a peachy coral...so pretty. Hope that randomness helps :-) have a lovely day!!!
txtipster says, It has pretty good coverage...excellent for a moisturizer, but not as heavy as a foundation. Most days I put it on in place of moisturizer, then lightly apply foundation to my troubled areas only. This usually hides any flaws I don't want visible and still makes me feel like I am hardly wearing any makeup. Good luck. Let me know if you try it out.
artsyfartsy says, Hi there, I love a good drugstore deal, especially when it's comparable to highend! I really like max factor 2000 calorie mascara too. Although, this site makes me want to splurge. There are a few items I indulge in occasionally. I love almond oil. I'll have to find an empty bottle and try it with olive oil. I'm almost finished with a large bottle of Neutrogena's sesame oil. Glad to see you found Megsmakeup. I'm really enjoying your posts. Have a great weekend!
txtipster says, I use the light/medium shade. I love this tinted moisturizer. It's the best I've ever tried...can substitute for foundation if you want it to.
chichi says, Your welcome for the Green Chi Xmas list! Welcome to megsmakeup! By the way, what is your ratio in the almond oil and olive oil mixture? Sounds yummy.
tashagogo says, Yay...Dani...you met my wife..isn't she gorgeous. I love Greenie!!!
greenie says, Thanks so much!! You are so sweet. I can't remember what color I was wearing, I think it was two mixed together and one was MAC oyster girl, I think the other might have been a Vincent Longo one....I am always chaging my gloss, and mixing them together, so it's hard to keep up with which one I had on... Welcome to MegsMake up!! It's fun here :)
tashagogo says, you've been posting all over the place...I think you're becoming addicted :-)
tashagogo says, I loooove liquid eyeliner...I've been wearing it for about 20 years....oh gosh, that made me feel really old, lol. Welcome to MM!!!!
