I can't live without this product...
I wouldn't die, but I would suffer greatly without this product... neutrogena healthy skin enhancer & physicians formula mineral veil
Without this product, I'd have to start drinking at noon ;-) ... smashbox - photo finish, photo-op and camera ready
My secret beauty recipe and best makeup tips... sugar body scrub - 1 cup organic brown sugar 1 cup french gray sea salt 1 TBSP Extra Virgin coconut oil & olive oil mix it in a ziplock and squish it around so it isn't messy. just scrub the goop on dry skin in the shower and rinse with warm water. it's cheap as can be and my skin is soft as a baby. plus it is totally safe...doesn't freak out my sensitive skin. you can even eat it if ya wanted too! (although it tastes like over-salted cookie dough. i had to try after my 4 year old grabbed the bag and took a taste)How long does it really take me to get ready? What's my beauty routine? two hours if you add bubble bath and full makeupWhile Meg's mom used to give her at-home perms, my most mortifying makeup moment is... it is a toss-up. i tried to go auburn once only to end up with black goth-like hair (so bad with my complexion!!!) another time, tried to highlight my hair and i ended up with lepoard spots in all the wrong places! it was hideous AND i had to go to work right afterwards! My hairdresser was not amused :)My celebrity doppelganger (or so I'm told sometimes) is... sophia loren, tori amos, jennifer grey (dirty dancing era: pre-nose job ewwww!)beezwax's Messages (10 Total | Leave Me A Message) |

sweetassgal says, Thanks so much! I'll pick some up today.
sweetassgal says, Just curious...which product of the Olay Total Effects to you use? I know there are lotions, serums, all sorts of things. I've got a chicken pox mark as well as ONE stubbor forehead line that won't go away! I could use the help so let me know exactly which one it is that you use if you have the time. Thank you SO very much! Glam On!
artsyfartsy says, Happy Spring to you too! I hope your recovery is going really well. Glad to hear from you:)
artsyfartsy says, Hey there - The surgery sounds really serious...I hope that you are doing better and that you have a quick recovery. I'm sending good vibes your way with hopes that all will be well and better than before!! Thanks so much for that tip on the water colors. I will try it out. I had intentions on sending you that link but obviously had a brain fart. Here it is...http://www.thecreativelife.com/ Let me know your thoughts. I've been busy at work so this is the first chance this week that I've had a chance to write myself. Again, I hope all goes well and write when you can.
meg says, You won! please email stephanieatmegsmakeup.com to get your bottle of perfume. we need the mailing address! Congrats!!
artsyfartsy says, Happy weekend! I love Kandinsky and totally thought of him when you decribed your method. My first 'real' paper was about him and ever since then I've been hooked on abstract expressionism and Wagner (who was actually a complete sh*t of person!) I love working with drawing mediums. It's the immediate gratification and less clean up (i'm a lazy artist). Watercolors have never been my forte just because it takes a lot of practice to control. I'm in awe of those who can use this medium. The reason I brought up Mitchi Pendeleton is that I went to school with him. His site shows his paintings but he is also a wonderful potter. Back in school he did a lot of raku pieces. The man knew how to manipulate the process to create some of the most astounding pieces. I have a few of his pieces which I proudly display:) It's a real joy for me to meet new artists like you. I love to hear about the process of creation. That to me is the best part about art.
artsyfartsy says, Hi! I checked out your website. Really love your paintings. Or are some watercolors? Thank you for sharing it. My easel is waiting for me to start something. I do more commission work than personal things. I've got a lot white walls and lots of ideas...just need to pick up a brush and get to it. It's inspiring to see someone elses work! Since you are from Atlanta do you by chance know Mitchi Pendelton? He and John Tindel create artworks together. Have a great week!
artsyfartsy says, Hi there, I picked up the Physician's Formula Mineral Veil. Really like it! Thank you so much for putting this up on your profile. It's not too pricey and I think it does a great job. Plus, it's great for popping into my purse for touch ups. Have a great weekend!
beautyzilla says, Thanks Beezwax diva! I'm glad to hear it! She ruffled my feathers for a second!!
tashagogo says, "to get my glam off"...that is the coolest thing I've heard anyone say in a long itme!!! You're a rockstar!!! I'm totally gonna use that from now on!!!
