LIPTINI! LIP LIQUEUR AND CHEEK STAIN "PINK SQUIRREL"

Meg here! Sometimes I can call 'em! I think it was back in 2006 when I proclaimed Liptini my most favortie lip stains ever! Back then they were a little boutique company right here in LA. The last time I was in NYC I was walking down the street and saw, much to my delight a big display of Liptini right in the drugstores window! It was a big drugstore too, like a Duane Reade or a Walgreens. It's a nice feeling when I am validated that "yes! that was a pulse my finger was feeling!"
I know I'm not alone in my obsession with these gorgeous colors, amazing staying power and conveniently packaged tubes of greatness. Over the years, I told all of my friends to go pick them up if they wanted a great item whose color you can layer for an even bolder effect. I know I know my stuff but it is great when I "google" the Liptini and see thousands of A+ reviews with lots of women agreeing with me! So you go Liptini! This Momma is so proud!
I recently tried Liptini's shade "Pink Squirell." It looks a lot redder in the tube but once it goes on, it's really a perfectly innocent, youthful and realistic pink. The type of pink lips you'd get if you were 5 years old and playing in the snow. It's that healthy natural pink that no one seems to ever have naturally. I know. Go figure. I like to layer so I apply it, let it dry and repeat 3x. Sometimes, I'll add a clear gloss or a complimentary shade in a pink.
I am loving this new shade. Per usual, Liptini does not let me down. If I could only bring 5 lip products off to sea with me Liptini Lip Liqueur and Cheek Stain would definitely make the cut!
If you haven't tried these stains than run out to get one! You will not be disappointed. You may have been lucky enough to get one of these in your last makeup points submission pack!
Who got one? What did you think? What lip stain is your holy grail?

The products are great... they give you a flush in your cheeks that looks like you are picture of a little girl in a 1900s portrit come to life..
walgreens?!?! i am so stopping there after work! So exciting!!!
I don't use lip stains, I haven't found one that doesn't dry my lips out yet. But I do like that it can be used as a cheek stain, that would be fun to try.

I keep using lip stains hoping that they won't dry my lips out. I started with Benetint years ago and though I do use it on my cheeks, I stopped using it on my lips. I gave the revlon products a try because they were on sale and have a sealer that you can put on top. I think I prefer to just use a MakeUpForever lip pencil that I scribble all over my lips and then put a little gloss or even just a colorless lip balm on top. The color from the lip pencil stays, but doesn't dry.
I used Benetint lip and cheek stain, loved it. I think it was called Kiss My Cheeks. This looks pretty comparable. I will def be checking my local Walgreens and give this a try.
I like the gloss+stains from Mark. Very nice.
At Walgreens?? That would be awesome!! I love the one I got in my last points pkg and I'd love to try some more :) :)

I got one...Pink Lady :) it is a dark shade in the bottle but it goes on as a nice deep pink on the lips. I like that you can build up colour and I am a big fan of the staying power!
I am not a fan of lip stains
I've never tried a lip stain. I can't even really wear lipstick since my lips usually get dry and I think the color makes my face look weird. I got some put on by a makeup artist for my wedding and spent most of the day wondering if I looked crazy. Oh well
Have yet to try liptini! I love the revlon kissable lip stains, they are really good.
who loves makeup? me me ME!
I also got in Pink Lady in my last point package. It's the first lip/ cheek stain I've tried. I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet, but I've been using it on my lip almost everyday. I'd love to branch out to more colors and types of lipstains. I have my eye on one from a Korean brand, TonyMoly.
I have never tried stains:(
I got one and I love it. It's very natural looking on the lips though it looks dark in the bottle, and it's not drying. I haven't used it on my cheeks though.
Never tried this brand but I definitely want to now!! I adore lip and cheek stains!
I've never tried a lip or cheek stain before but I'm curious to try one.
My local Walgreens doesn't have these, but they sound interesting. I may have to order some online and give them a try.
I haven't tried this lipstain but I did use Revlon's Just Bitten way back in the day. I loved the shades but they were too drying. I would love to try Liptini and see if it works better for me...might have to make a trip to Walgreens soon!

Cute color ! it looks so awsome
im trying the revlon lip stain. so far its okay. I think finding the right color is hard, and it doesnt look exactly like the color on the pencil. hope this one is better
I love the Josie Maran lip markers. Am I overpaying? I am trekking to Walgreens to find out
I got one of these in my package a few months ago. Unfortunately my lips are a bit too dry at this time to use this as a stain, but it does give a really nice "in from the cold" type of flush on my cheeks. It looks very scary in the package, but it blends out beautifully.
Ive never tried a lip stain, but I like this pink hue being described, maybe if I happen by the product next time Im out looking Ill pick one out.
that looks gorgeous! almost like a vile of blood. Interesting
I agree with you Chemical_Monster, a vile of blood indeed. My sister would LOVE the packaging of the lip stain. I am curious about using it as a cheek stain though??
i want it!!!!
im sure im not the first person to make a remark about the interesting name...
