NEUTROGENA! PINK GRAPEFRUIT OIL FREE CLEANSING WIPES!

Stacy B here! Happy New Year everyone! Fresh start, new year, better tomorrows. Hopefully.
The last two years have been a bit trying for my husband and I, for many reasons, including a rough pregnancy, the increased cost of two kids in daycare, a job change for my husband that turned out to be a terrible move thanks to some corporate decisions made just after he was hired that essentially changed not only his job, but his salary. Not good, and questionable business ethics if you ask me.
That's as much detail as I'll bore you with, but we are confident this new year will bring us much more happiness and good luck. We have healthy boys and a nice place to live so I shouldn't take that for granted, but a happy work environment for the hubby and a boost in our economic situation would be icing on the cake.
We're not big on resolutions at our house, I feel like they set you up to fail. They are always too big and a year is just too long to hold yourself to something that could be a major life change. I'm sticking with what I know and just vowing to stay on my healthy eating and gym workouts plan.
I was at the gym last night and saw a bunch of New Year's Resolutioners huffing and puffing on the treadmills in their new gym clothes looking like they were about to throw up. I admire them for taking that first step, but if you don't start out slow, you'll never made it past January. It took me 6 months to work up to 45 minutes of cardio and 25 mintues of weight training 4 nights a week and while it was frustratingly slow, in 6 months I lost 23 lbs and every ounce of baby weight I put on. I'm pretty proud of that and I know it was because I took it slow, didn't expect miracles and pushed myself just enough to see results without hurting myself or getting discouraged.
One thing that helped was taking walks during lunch at work. I have a gym right down the street and I can get there, walk on an incline for 30 minutes and get back to work in an hour. I don't over-exert, there's just no time for showering so I do just enough to get off my butt, burn some calories and boost my energy without sweating like a pig. Thank God for dry shampoo and makeup wipes! My favorite wipes are Neutrogena's Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Cleansing Wipes.
I have these in my gym bag and I love them. They smell so fresh and citrus-y. I use them when I'm changing to do a quick wipe down of my skin, especially around my hairline which does get a little sweaty, even though my workout is very low impact. They are also perfect for around the bands and straps of my sports bra that can also get a little sticky. Just a quick swipe and my skin is clean, sweet smelling and fresh.
I know these are primarily for your face, but they work everywhere else, too. They are not sticky at all, they wipe away clean, although it does take a minute or two for them to totally dry. I don't have time for a full moisturizing ritual after my workout but these are not drying at all. That's one of the reasons I like them so much, I can use them without feeling my skin tighten up and get cracked or itchy. And since it's 8 degrees today as I write this, the air is dry enough, I don't need a wipe sapping any more moisture from my skin.
I have found these at a few different stores for about $8 for 25 wipes. A great price and they are a lifesaver. I probably wouldn't take walks at lunch as often if I didn't have these. Sitting at my desk after a light workout with my skin salty from sweat is just gross. These make me feel like I just stepped out of a quick shower and used a yummy pink grapefruit soap.
Thanks to these wipes, I'm sure my resolution to stick with my healthy habits will last right through to the next year.
WHAT, if any are your New Year's Resolutions?- I'm on day 3 of ZERO Ciggs. I'm a little aggitated but I am 100% doing it this year! I don't even miss it!-Meg

thats a great idea i would never have thought of using them for anything else besides faces!! love that!!! I have no resolution i kinda gave up on 2013 when i had to work a double new years eve && somebody stole my fone WAAH! hha
As a fitness instrructor and someone who works out at least 6 days a week (I know there are only 7) congrats! It is hard to carve out gym time. Change it up as much as possible to keep it interestin. And I think starting slowly is a great idea. It keeps you motivated and helps prevent injuries. These wipes are GREAT!!! I started using them at the beach this summer to get the sweat off my face (yes I reapplied sunscreen) and now I use them at the gym and also at night when I am just too tired to wash my face. I don't recommend them for makeup removal and you don't want to get the cloth too close to your eyes. Otherwise, I agree, I have swiped down my pits with these before I head out of the gym. Not as a shower replacement, but so I don't offend at Starbucks!
Great idea!! I wish I had a gym in my little town. I couldn't go at lunch, but I sure could after work. As it is, I'd have to drive 15-20 min and that is too much with 3 kids with after school/evening activites.

Quite a number of resolutions that I am trying to keep amongst which is to take up healthy eating and regular excercise more seriously if I want to stay trim. This sounds like a good product :)

I'm terrible at keeping resolutions so I never make any! These wipes sound good though and I never thought of using them for after the gym! I'll need to try that out!
I love these wipes! And I know what you mean about the New Years resolutionaries at the Gym - I always plan on an extra-crowded gym until about Valentines Day, then they all start to drop off.
I'm not big on resolutions, but if you are, go for it! :)
Congrats on no cigs! I'm on my 9th month of cig free life and am happy ^^
I don't really have any resolutions but those Neutrogena wipes are amazing. They also smell so good.
great idea`
i wish i could use these. i love the grapefruit scent. alas, i tried to get away with the body wash version and broke out in a horrible rash. salicylic acid and i don't mix very well, and i guess citrus extracts on top of it just intensified the reaction. sorry, neutrogena...your products always end up hurting me.

Ive use this brand before, but the blue colored one. and it does a wonderful job removing makeup from my face. I think it works better than Say Yes to Blueberry wipes that I bought. Definitely going back. :)
These sound great, I'll have to check them out. I always wash my face before bed, but I keep some cleansing wipes in my nightstand just in case I'm too tired to wash. I also love these for when I'm camping to make me feel more fresh.

I like to try these wipes
I love using my makeup removing wipes on my chest after working out. It's where I tend to break out on my body and I don't want sweat to break me out even more.
Not into resolutions but if it works for you go for it!
I could possibly use these as body refreshers but it is a no go for my face. Way too sensitive.

can't travel without a good wipe. I'll def try these next time i'm at the drugstore.
OoOoO I love that! I bought the Neutrogena grapefruit acne body wash for my husband a few months back because for some reason, he was breaking out. But it worked wonder and he loved it since. So he went on and bought the oil-free grapefruit face wash all by himself. I gotta say, it was a bold move for him and I was impressed. He's not too big on products but poor guy, he has a wife that is! Oh, good job on the cig. It was rough when I quit cold turkey a few years back but it's worth it though.
