MAYBELLINE! ILLEGAL LENGTH FIBER EXTENSION MASCARA!
Stacy B here! I have 3 mascaras right now. All fairly new and usable and in rotation in my makeup drawer. I would probably have a few more if I didn't force myself to get rid of the older ones as I keep getting new ones to review for you! I should attend a meeting or something, you know, "Hi, I'm Stacy and I'm a mascaraholic..."
I've never thought of my self as a mascaraholic, I have far more shadows than mascaras. But the shadows are all different colors, the mascaras are not, so having 3 different ones is a bit hard to justify. However, they do end up serving different purposes, mostly because they have different wands that do different things to my lashes. And supposedly they are all different formulas that either volumize, lengthen or separate.
The one that I've been using more frequently lately is Maybelline's Volume Express The Falsies in black. This use to be my every day mascara until I switched to another Maybelline mascara, Illegal Length Fiber Extension mascara. I switched to that one becuase it lengthened and separated my lashes really well and gave me a clean, wide-eyed look. Nicely wide-eyed, like a fresh faced girl running through a field of daisies, not wide-eyed like I just saw how many calories are in my favorite Oreo Blizzard from Dairy Queen.
Post baby, there were many days were no mascara saw the light of my bathroom in the morning until I started to feel good enough to venture out of the house to run errands or take a walk. Then I realized that while the length and separation were great, I needed some more oomph to help me look more awake than I was. So, I went back to Volume Express. This has a much thicker brush that really plumped up my lashes. It was thick but went on smoothly without clumping or smudging. There was a noticible difference in lash volume, particularly at the base of my lash. I could skip eye liner if I wanted and still have some nice definition thanks to a heavy coat of this stuff.
I opted for waterproof since I'm still a bit hormonal and a bad episode of Dr. Phil can set off the waterworks. Even though it was waterproof, it still washed off easily with regular soap or make up removing cloths (which are my new favorite thing, so much easier than a full face wash when my little guy is crying for food or a snuggle!) I recently went to a wedding and my hubby requested a 'green smokey eye'. I'm not kidding, those were his exact words. I was impressed! He must pay attention when I talk to him about my weekly reviews!
This mascara was perfect for the smokey eye look, it accentuated my eye liner and defined and plumped my lashes enough to be seen in front of the smokey green shadows that I used. Mr. Stacy B was pleased! And so was I. Not only to look and feel pretty good only 5 weeks after having a baby, but for the fact that I can truly justify having multiple mascaras in my bag of tricks!

My favorite is Cover Girl LashFusion, but I also use a Tarte mascara that Meg sent me. :) And, I keep a trial size Clinique in my handbag -- just in case, LOL.
I've got two mascaras in my rotation - a Phyicians Formula with a purple end and a black end, and L'oreal mascara that is brown. I definitely need to have a brown mascara so I can use it when I wear brown eyeliner
while I like both, I see that neither company is on Leaping Bunny's list of cruelty-free companies so I guess I won't be re-purchasing either. I have only just started referencing my makeup purchases with that list so I have a lot of products to go through before my stash is fully cruelty-free
I usually have two mascaras in rotation, one that's more natural looking and one that's more dramatic. Right now they're wet n wild's Mega Length and Mega Volume, although I prefer the latter. I don't like to spend a ton on mascara since it needs to be replaced so often, and there aren't a ton of cheaper drugstore options that are cruelty free. Maybelline, CoverGirl, and L'Oreal seem to be big hits, but they all test on animals. The wnw ones are actually really great though, so I don't feel like I'm missing out.
I LOVED CoverGirl's Lash Blast but I stopped buying it because it wasn't cruelty-free. I was hoodwinked by L'oreal though so I have a few of those products left that I won't be repurchasing.
I currently have three mascaras that I'm using, but that is because I've had really bad luck with mascara. I haven't really liked any of the ones that I've tried recently. I currently have out Revlon's Grow Lucious (wet and goopy), and ELF mascara (REALLY dry - I can barely get anything on my lashes), and Urban Decay's Supercurl (I haven't used this in a while, so I can't remember what I didn't like). Sadly, I don't have a favorite mascara.
Right now I am switching between Tarte Lights Cameras Lashes! and Revitalash Mascara with the Primer. I like them both but Revitalash with the primer gives me a lot more ooomph for when I'm going out or just need my lashes to look extra great, and the Tarte is great for every day and work. I also have a few travel sized ones I used here and there when I want to switch it up.

I don't really have a favorite. Mascara is my one makeup downfall. I hate applying and haven't found one that gives me volume and length that lasts. Maybe I'll give this one a try. Currently, I have the Tarte Amazonian Clay one that I do really like, it is almost gone though. I opened LOreal Double Extend but I forgot how hard it is to remove. I also have a One by One that is ok for no makeup days.

Mu fave is Luview Gleam Full Long Lash Mascara, but I also have opened L'Oreal Voluminious and Tarte Gifted
Currently three in my rotation, too. I have the Maybelline one that is royal blue, in the pink package with the green lid. Then I have Benefit Bad Gal Brown mascara, and then I have Revitalash primer and mascara in black. So I got my blue, brown and black covered. I've got a Tarte mascara sitting in my cabinet that I have yet to open and a spare Revitalash, too. All in all, Revitalash is my fave. I like the brown color of the Benefit one, but I find the formula is a bit thick and clumpy. The Maybelline is a little thin, but fun when I want just a pop of "was that blue?" on my lashes! Blue ribbon goes to Revitalash!

I have more than three in rotation, but to be fair, some are sample sizes that I get from Sephora and it is just time to use them up. If you held a blow dryer to my head and made me pick, I would pick They're Real and Bad Gal (plum) from Benefit and Maybelline's Illegal Lengths. L;Oreal Voluminous is another great option and I like Buxom from Bare Escentuals as well. And if money was no object I would definintely wear Chanel Inimitable as my one and only.

I am using up a sample of Buxom Lash - not bad - good lengthening & separating but doesn't give as much volume as I'd like. My goto is usually CoverGirl Lashblast. I always seem to have a gwp mascara that I keep in my purse. If money wasn't an object when replacing every 3 mos. I'd use Chanel, Lancome or Armani Eyes to Kill

I have too many mascaras!! I have one in the office, one in my makeup pouch, 6-8 on my vanity table, and 2-3 new ones stashed somewhere. What I like and repurchased: Fasio's volume mascara (can't remember the exact name), and Majolica Majorca's latest fibre mascaras - finally working for me, no more flakes!!
I like Maybelline's Falsies non waterproof mascara - my lashes remains soft, something that I have never experienced with waterproof mascaras, but it smudges on me. :(
Some fibre mascaras will flake on me, so I prefer non-fibre types. I don't need lengthening mascaras now, thanks to Meg and Revitalash :)

I use Clinique Hihg Impact. I like it a lot but I need a less expensive mascara. I'll definitely try this since I've heard Maybelline has improved their mascaras a lot.
I have about 3 or 4 in rotation - maxfactor 2000 calorie and Korres are my fave. I realy love the korres oil one, as it conditions aswell

I usually have 3 or 4 mascaras on hand, but only use one at a time as I need to replace them every 3 months. My favourite is Maybelline Great Lash. I've been trying out other options and trying to find a new favourite.
I have two that I always use then I am consistently trying others to see how they match up to my favorites. I actually tried this one out in waterproof and it is a pretty good mascara!

Haha your husband actually asked for a "smokey green eye!" I love it. It's interesting my tomboy daughter just had her first baby and for the first time in her life is interested in make up! Must be the breast feeding homones. Anyhow I am enjoying your pre and post baby reviews a lot. I love gunky, cakey eyelashes, probably because I wear glasses, but I do find myself going for L'Oreal's Voluminous Million Lashes waterproof all the time these days. I 'd love to find a comparable more outrageous, water proof mascara, but a lot of them have started bothering my eyes. Cover Girl made a waterproof mascara called Professional Something or other a few years ago and it was hands down the best waterproof I ever used. Gave me huge lashes, never budged and never bothered my eyes. The closet I have found since are some Lancome mascaras, but they are too expensive for me now because of all the reactions I am starting to get from mascaras. There are some very good recommendations here though, thanks Women!

Wow! Your husband is impressive! Mine can't even tell when I'm wearing makeup... lol! I like Maybelline's One by One mascara, it's the only one I'm using right now. It does smudge on me but it holds a curl and makes it look like I actually have eyelashes, so I put up with the smudging.
when I was in high school, I was a huge fan of the original illegal lengths mascara. I haven't tried this version, but based on maybelline's recent additions to their line point towards this one being a solid bet for a reasonably priced performer. I prefer other mascaras these days over drugstore options simply because I have skimpy lashes and I can tell a huge difference in the overall health of them when I use higher end brands. I currently love Tarte's amazonian clay smart mascara and their lights camera lashes.

I only have two and my favorite so far is Dior.
I have good luck with covergirl mascara and I have a tubing mascara too. Most melt on me. if I see this on sale I may try it but have had melting issues with mabeline before

I have like 4, one I like best is Urban Decay (that I think I got from Meg). Also like my Sephora Smoky Eye, which was a free sample.
Right now I'm using the Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express Waterproof in Glam Brown. It's okay but I think I may go back to my old standby Falsies Waterproof!
I have three, and there's one I just ordered so soon four. xD My current favorite is Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes. But Wet n' Wild's Mega Protein mascara is great for it's one dollar price tag.

I don't think this will be a good product. The bristles look to far apart.

I cannot read a mascara review with the M word , as it brings back fondest memories of MAYBELLINE LASH STYLIST.I think we need some type of uprising to bring it back, thousands of women descending upon Maybelline headquarters! hands down, out of ANY drug store, or luxe brand mascara, that comb worked wonders! I went on a three county binge finding every last tube that I could! Any one remember this manna-from heaven mascara?

I try to only have one mascara open at a time because I hate waste and I'm religious about tossing my mascara every few months. Right now I'm loving my NP Mesmer-EYES that I got in my last package, but usually CG's Lash Blast Luxe in my standby. The subtle shimmer really makes my eyes pop, but not in an obvious "It's because of the mascara" way, but in more of an "I can't put my finger on it" way. LOVE it. But on the the other hand, I only use it for color- I think I'm lucky in that I have pretty full, lush, high-volumed lashes without needing product, I only need color.

I have eyelash extensions at the moment so am loving not having to wear mascara but before that I had 4 mascaras on the go: black/brown and black Max Factor false lash effect ones, Maybelline full & soft and an Urban Decay one I got in a package from here awhile back. Once the lashes are off I will be looking for something like this onewas my own lashes will be a bit shorter thannormal.
Currently the Pupa Milano Vamp! mascara is my favourite. I also have some from Essence for everyday use
I have 3 that I use fairly regularly. One from Nyx, one from Essence, and one good old L'Oreal Voluminous. They all do pretty different things and they were really cheap. Maybelline always tries to suck me in with innovation and promises, but their mascaras really sting my eyes :/
