REVLON! PHOTOREADY COLLECTION!
Meg here! I have been having some technical difficulties. Actually, not in life, life has been A-OK. Just really internet technical difficulties (since we all live online I 'm sure you can understand.)
Revlon approached me to do a few videos on their PhotoReady Collection (they're over on People.com) I mean, why wouldn't they approach me? When you think of effortless grace you obviously think of Megsmakeup.com. Ha! I need more to get ready than most-but, I have to say. The Revlon PhotorReady collection has made me just that. They're the only products I am wearing in these videos and they make me look just as great as the fancy dance department store counterparts. Revlon Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow is Siren really does make the smoky eye as easy as can be. There's even directions on the back, if you can read, you can perfect this!
I wanted my videos to be fun. I know if you're on the site here you're already a makeup junkie so I don't have to explain "how to put on mascara." I may have to explain this bedroom scenario but I think we're all good on the mascara front.
I did like the wand and the brustles of Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara, I like a stiff wand! Maybe I shouldn't write that bit after a bedroom scenario, but...
The PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup is light and blends wonderfully, it provides a lot of coverage without having your face feel like you're wearing a heavy mask.
Drugstore brands have really been raising the quality and the Revlon PhotoReady collection is definitely bringing their A-Game!
Give my videos a gander and let me know what you think! I'm giving away 10 Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup's to the best comments!
What scenario would you have played out if Revlon asked you to create a video on your favorite Revlon Product?

I guess going out on a night out on the town- or better yet.. being tired after an all nighter of studying and needing to look fresh and like a knock out..
I'd love to do something about their Superlustrous lipsticks, they're so pigmented and smooth. I'd say "Why spend so much money on high end when you can get the same quality cheaper", demonstrating an array of colors! Love yours videos, Meg!
Its true drug store make up really is becoming simple greatness!! You guys are so great! love the videos!
"I like a stiff wand!"....and really, who doesn't? that's what i've always liked about your reviews...your ability to interject your personality in each and every one. these videos just further my idea of you as a really REAL person. most commercials/review/blogs are so down to business. so bland. so...faceless. when I read a post from meg, I know i'm gonna smile. I know i'm going to get not only a fair review of a beauty product, but a funny story or anecdote that I can relate to...or at least live vicariously through... and honestly, i would bet my left foot (it's the smaller one and I AM right-foot dominate, not crazy!) that the overwhelming majority of us here would sooner buy makeup based on the bedroom scenario above over some movie star frolicking through a field of wildflowers in a piece of wind-blown gauze ANY day of the effin' week. Meg, thank you for making me laugh...and OH...for the site, too!

I love that you just happen to have a stiff wand at the ready! And now everyone who subscribes to MegsMakeup knows where to find one that won't disappoint. And you can get a new one whenever you want and no one will think you are a woman of questionable values!!! It is barely 8 AM and I am off and running with this one. Seriously, if you read my posts you know that I don't think there is a drug store foundation worth being given away free let alone paying for it. But Revlon seems to have finally brought its A Game and realized we are spending a ton of money at places like Sephora, Nordstrom, Neiman's, etc. for high "even if it's only in our minds" quality makeup and that the HD feature has a lot to offer. I would not hesitate to try the mascara - darn I was just at Tarjay last night -and I am also going to take a look at the foundation. Now, I am going to go see if anyone needs a stand-up comic in fabulous makeup!

Meg! You're adorable! Though really, not taking off your makeup before bed? Tsk tsk. ;]
I have both this foundation and the mascara. I don't love the foundation at all, but only because of the small shimmer particles. I have naturally oily skin so I try to go for a more matte look and this doesn't deliver that for me. Also, too much always comes out the bottle for me and I end up wasting a lot of product. I do love the PhotoReady mascara though. It's awesome!

Great videos, keep them coming!
Meg you naughty thing you ;)
I've never really had a lot of success with Revlon products, but I haven't tried the Photo Ready line. I think I might give the Photo Ready Makeup Compact a try since it has SPF 20.
I had tried the revlon photoready powder a while back...I found it merely okay. I tossed it in the trash a few months ago when I was cleaning out my stash. it didn't perform for me as a finishing powder...then again, i'm super picky about powders. perhaps it would be a great product on its own.

Not impressed by Revlon, not even the Lip Butter
Thanks for showing Revlon's foundation, I've been curious how it was. I love Revlon's lip butters so I was thinking maybe they were trying hard to come out with some great new products- it sounds like they are!
Love these videos.
I don't know what scenario I would use but I love the videos!
Great Job! & Good stiff wand gets the job done! I'm currently crushing on Physician's Formula mascaras (still) Jumbo Lash is still my favorite but I like their new Lash Boosting mascara also (good stiff wand). hah.
Been a while since I've bought any Revlon products, but I used to have several of their nail polishes.
The videos are adorable, great job Meg! If I was going to do one it would be about their Super Lustrous Lipgloss. I think that one could be fun and fashionable - maybe about how many shades they have to compliment every outfit / makeup look, and about how sexy and pretty they make your mouth look! I forsee a hot guy in my video, drooling over my luscious pout and adorable outfit :)

Fun videos, Meg :) I think a lot of drug store brands have been stepping up their game lately. I'm a big fan of Revlon's lip butters. I also use their 16 hour colorstay eye liner all the time. It's fantastic and does wonders on your water line.
I like your videos. I think Relvon has some good products and if I were to do a fun video, maybe it will be something along the lines of ... you know that magazines sometimes show how you can mix and match 7 clothing pieces to get a different looks for a month. Now with 7 makeup items, you can also get a different look everyday.
I do believe drug store brands are finally in the running with a lot of name brands - Revlon doesn't have too many items that I can say I re-purchase. But this one does look interesting enough to at least give it one try.

I really like Revlon.
I used to wear Revlon all the time before switching to minerals. I am interested in the powder with spf. I'll have to give it a shot. Love the video :)

Love the videos! And it's nice to see Revlon competing with Makeup Forever and other pricey brands.
LOL LOVE THIS VIDEO, meg at the end when she says your welcome..lmfao so funny. I think ill try that eye primer.
i might just try what meg said about the airbrush foundation and mascara ... i want to wake up looking like a supermodel...tee hee.

Love your videos! I kept expecting the guy in bed next to you to wake up and be like, 'Hey Beautiful!' or something! If I had to make a commercial, I'd try to have it appeal to the housewives and moms. With super simple makeup being put on in the kitchen, as their packing the kids and husbands lunches. Then, after the family is out the door, the mom looks at the camera sneakily and peaks out the window just in time to see that the paparazzi have arrived on schedule. She grabs her purse, let's her hair down, shakes it out, and walks proudly out the door to her minivan, cameras flashing like crazy all around her. Oh yeah, she's workin' it. She knows she looks good, cause she's PHOTOREADY! :o)

I haven't used much Revlon. Back in high school I used to use one of the lipsticks in Coffee Bean.
I'm not sure how the photo ready foundation would work on my skin and hold up on my oily forehead.
i think it is so fun when you post vids, nice personal touch! my fave foundation these days is bb cream!! Would loooove you to review one!!
