GIOVANNI COLORFLAGE! BEAUTIFULLY BLONDE! GIVE-AWAYS BY "LIKING" THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE!
Meg hair! I know, the end of the world is coming and all that but if I'm going out I'm going out with a bang. I hope to come screeching up to the pearly gates, cocktail in hand wearing a fabulous pair of heels. I'm pretty sure God's not going to expect anything less from me. Let's hope it's God and not "Hello? Sheesh, is it hot in here or is it me?"
You all know I am a constant in my colorist's chair but I have found a new item that is helping me stretch those visits out. Seriously, if you don't believe me you can google it and read all of the buzz all over the web. My colored blonde hair has been glossy and shiny and vibrant. Would you believe at $9.00 a bottle, from the drugstore AND NATURAL for you greenies out there! Tadah!! Introducing Giovanni's Colorflage in Beautifully Blonde!
My color has not been fading like it usually does. Also, I have no idea if it has something to do with the actual shampoo and conditioner being a bright, vibrant yellow but it tames away any brass. The conditioner is super moisturizing and I like that it looks like two shiny gold bars in my shower. the fact that I got two of them for under $20 wasn't hard to take either.
I know you all love freebies and so I am sharing the Giovanni Hair and Body Care page on Facebook for you to like! We have some reviews coming up on their new D Tox line so keep your eyes peeled for that!
I am really impressed with Giovanni and think you will be too! Be sure to "LIKE" their page for chances to win! Some Giovanni went out in our last makeup points mailing package so some of you will have some Giovanni shortly!
I'm sold! Anyone else already know about this secret gem? I know you're all social networking! How easy is it to hit "like" to win. A company insider let me know they're going to be actively appreciating their "Liker's"

I have used Giovanni products on and off over the last 4 years. I initially got sucked in by the chocolate dessert. Oh that was a body scrub? Oh my god, it smelled amazing, was gentle and was 11.00 at Whole Foods which is about the only place you could find it 4 years ago. Then I noticed certain products from the line showing up at Safeway, Giant, Target, etc. I have used the Hydrating Calming Conditioner and it is one of my favorites. You can often find the products on a BOGO deal at the grocery store. Drugstore.com has the Colorflage for 8.99. So if you need to do an order anyway, throw this in and get your free shipping. I would definitely try this product. My go to product for color treated hair is usually Brunette Goddess by TIGI, but I color so often, I don't stick with just shampoos for color treated hair. The biggest difference in keeping my color is not washing everyday.
Gotta try that!
Never heard of Giovanni. I like that it takes away the brass. The color I use now always turns brassy at the ends. I hope I win so I can try it!
I will have to try this. My red fades way too quickly
oh la la!! sounds like a treat.. need to go like them on facebook immediatly.. I was lucky enough to get the detox mask from Meg(thank you thank you thank you Meg!!) (going to post on all my goodies that Meg graciously sent my way as soon as I get a free moment).. this sounds great!! always love a good freebie!! Liked them right now! :)
Anything for Brownies (brown haired folks)
That sounds like a great product. Nothing I`d personally need though since I`m a brunette and have never dyed my hair.
Ooh I've gotten a kit from them before, haven't used the products yet though.
Have not tried this, but I use their other shampoos and conditioners. Great products!
i'm not much of a hair dyer. I L'oreal i think.... it was a purple dye.. but my hair ended up being flaming red because I have black hair! i didnt' use anything to prolong my colour but it the flaming red remained for months, i couldn't believe it... eventually it faded into a mousey brown. phew.

ooh, this sounds amazing! I have to touch up my roots every 4 weeks or so! I dye to a light blonde too, gotta cover those greys!
Giovanni gets a lot of love from the sulfate-free crowd! I see it at the store sometimes and withe Meg's recommendation I might just snap it up next time I see it!
If only I was blonde. That chocolate stuff smells so good I wanted to eat it, not scrub with it! Their shampoos are nice. I think I tried them because they were SLS/ES free. Their conditioners didn't work for me at all though.
Thanks fopr sharing! I must try this!
I used to have a Giovanni leave-in conditioner. It was pretty good, but I was lazy about applying it. I finally threw it out last week, after hoarding it for a couple of yrs... wonder if there is anything for dark/black-hair girls who color their hair a lighter shade of brown?
i love giovanni products... their tea tree shampoo (not the conditioner) is a staple for me since i've got such a troubled scalp (psoriasis which thankfully doesnt usually flare in the warmer weather & hasnt been bothering me as much since i've been doing hot vinyasa classes interestingly enough, maybe sweating the toxins out who knows)... i'm not a blonde by any stretch... might do some lighter brown highlights for the summer tho and ANYTHING that keeps the red from pulling in my hair is a must have. i'm currently crushing on sukesha black malva shampoo (dont even need a conditioner after i use it) but i'm always adding to the stash... this looks like a good one!
i've been tempted to go blonde many times, but scared cos i have curly hair.. would be fun though
who loves makeup? me me ME!
I'd be so tempted to try a brunette version of this!

This sounds nice. My hair color is a weird, in-between shade, so I've been curious to try something like this to make it pop one way or another, but it kind of scares me. Speaking of coloring, I think that is on my to do list for early this summer. Too many gray hairs are popping up for my liking.
Thanks for the tip, I liked them on facebook! Does this work as well on non-colored blonde hair? I have tried Giovanni bath products, like their body wash, and liked it a lot. I also have a set from their D Tox line of the body wash, lotion, and body scrub and it has a nice scent. The only problem was that the soap and body scrub has lava soap in it and it left a lot of black in my shower, but it worked well so I used it anyway.

This sounds awesome, I'd love to get some of this for my blonde relatives!
I have naturally very dark brown/black hair so I don't think this product is for me. :) Thanks for the review!
i don't really dye my hair but awesome post :)
I have to try this.
How bout something for us redheads? I would LOVE truely shiny hair!!
I like Giovanni a lot! Their Smooth as Silk line have done so much for my frizzy and dry curly hair!
I will have to check this out. My hair color always turns brassy even when I am adamant about getting ashy colors - gets it's just the nature of my hair.
Sounds very interesting....

I am going to enter the giveaway.
This sounds good. I have stopped colouring my hair for sometime and so won't be using the products anytime soon. :)
I've been contemplating having my hair dyed red (by a professional) and my biggest deterrent has been the thought that I will have to go back to the salon oh so often to revamp. If this product will keep the color in a little longer I think I will be jumping in head first. Thanks for the review and I will be looking for it at Sephora and Ulta.

Never heard of it. Interesting....
i like giovanni shampoos alot and this looks like something i would try in the future when i actually dye my hair :)

I just ordered the one for Brunettes! So excited to try it. It also has been getting rave reviews online!
I'm also one who would be excited to try the Brunette version!
I'm loving how companies are engaging in FB nowadays and giving away these freebies on their page! Great way to thank their customers and get new ones too! This product isn't for me, hair is naturally my own color, but this sounds amazing!

I've never heard of it.
anything for red heads? i recently dyed my hair and i'm looking for the best way to keep the color looking vibrant as long as possible.
With gold liquid I would think it would make the blond more brassy and not tone it down. Hmmm.... may have to try this because I am always looking for something to tone down brassiness.

Sounds nice, I don't color my hair, but my mom would love this. She is always looking for something to keep her color vibrant and keep it from getting brassy.
Natural!? Just what I've been looking for! I'm definitely going to be searching for this next time I'm out!
sounds nice

This sounds like a must have.
I also need this in the brunette version. Sounds great!
Ohhh, I love giveaways...unfortunately I am a super dark brunette who will never be blonde.
Sounds like a great product. I'll have to keep it in mind for my blondie friends!

Do they make any for the Gingers? I actually use Jason's Henna shampoo and conditioner, personally I cant really tell that there is much Henna in it but it keeps my naturally red hair glossy and shiny. Glad you found something that works for you!
Not really a useful product for me, but it's nice to hear it works for other ladies.
