LOVE IT! BADGER BABY BALM!
BabyLove here! I’m pleased to announce that after a year of begging Badger for products, I’ve finally succeeded! We’ve done reviews on Badger before, and you all have raved along with us when we sang the praises of their lip balms and #1 rated sunscreen. Since I blog mostly about children’s products, it seemed fit that I add them to the line up. Everything we’ve sampled from Badger has been fanfreakintastic, so I wasn’t shocked to find that their baby products are awesome too.
Jentri, from Badger, was kind enough to not file a restraining order after all of my “badgering” (oh, ha ha I am so creative) for baby products. She sent over some organic baby balm, some night night balm, and badger baby oil. I kept the baby balm for my babies, and passed on the other two goodies to some friends.
Calum is getting his two year old molars in, and has been nothing short of a whiny disaster area. He’s drooling non- stop, and has had a raw bum. I’ve used this on him to protect and soothe the area. It took only a day to see a huge result, and at every diaper change I’ve been applying a little bit to protect him from the moisture. It keeps him dry, and keeps him smelling good.
Made from extra virgin olive oil, yellow beeswax, castor oil, calendula extract, and essential oil of roman chamomile, this balm is the greatest. From spending almost everyday of the Summer at the beach, William’s heels are super dry and cracked. The sand, water, and sun has definitely taken a toll on his toddler tootsies. He hasn’t complained about them, but they look sort of unsightly and painful at the same time. You can clearly see deep cuts in his heels. I’m really shocked that they haven’t bled yet. At bedtime, I have been coating his heels with this and putting his socks on. His feet aren’t entirely healed yet, but Badger is definitely helping them get there. This balm is seriously so versatile. Badger’s site suggests using it for some skin conditions, so I’m wondering if this would work on helping to soothe some of William’s less severe eczema breakouts.
Badger Baby Balm comes in a cute, 2 ounce tin. Our reviewers who aren’t super crazy about earthy smells need not worry, since even though Badger balm is certified organic, it doesn’t smell that way! I love the smell of this balm. It smells like a touch of chamomile and lemon, and I’ve received quite a few comments about my new “perfume,” after using this to moisturize my dry hands, elbows, and even my lips. At first look, I thought I’d have a little bit of trouble working the balm into my skin, but looks are deceiving. I had absolutely no issue or greasy remnants left behind on my skin after using Badger. It takes just a minute to work in, and you see and feel IMMEDIATE results. One tin won’t be enough, because everyone will be hooked.
Moms and Dads listen up! Don’t be like me and steal your baby’s balm, get your own! Badger carries a variety of balms for all different reasons. I promise, if you’ve never heard of, or used Badger, get some now because you’re missing out! BADGER IS THE BEST!
Any other mom's on the verge of being issued a restraining order away from Badger?

Oh I love Badger products! I haven't tried the baby line yet but definitely will give it a try. What a great idea to use it on your sons heels...I'll have to give that a try. Thanks for the great review.
I love the packaging! It is so cute!

I haven't tried this brand! But the packaging is very cute and attracts me a lot (maybe because I'm going to be a mother in 7 months! ;-) ).
I bought some of this earlier this week for myself and it's great so far.
I love the Badger baby oil for my three month old son, Luca. I've used it after his bath for a little baby massage. It calms him down before bedtime. It has a mild smell, which I like. Not too "earthy" even though the ingredients are completely organic. It's nice to know your child's products aren't filled with ingredients you can't even pronounce or heard of. It's silky, not too oily, like a lot of other baby oils tend to be. It doesn't stick to his PJs and absorbs into his skin nicely. The bottle is a good size, will last for a while. Fewww! Luca loves Badger!
Badger Balm is the BOMB... seriously... that balm has been truly amazing. My son never really suffered from any diaper rash (he's going to be three in oct) and I totally attribute that to the Badger Calendula Oil (we use it after every bath since he was an infant) and the Balm when he's teething and gets a lil raw looking... and it really does heal and soothe the skin! I totally recommend those two items... especially for new mommies.... you wont even need diaper cream (altho if you do i like weleda or burts bees).i also like their chest rub... totally love the tins. we also use their sunscreen stick (so easy and WAY cheaper than california baby).... and they have this bug balm stick thingie... LOVE (can't find it anymore but i still have a lot left). wow... i could go on and on and on.... i'm a badger babe... thru and thru! who knew?!
I really could have used this about 2 weeks ago when my son was so sick that he had open sores on his little bum. We ended up using straight petroleum jelly just to block the moisture. It healed...but slowly. Since I know kids get sick a lot, I should probably just buy this now and get ready for the next bad cold or stomach bug!
Me and my daughter have been using the Badger Baby Balm for a week now and love it! It comes in a cute little tin that will last forever. We have used it many times and have barely made a dent in it. She is 5 so we decided to use it on our lips, as chap stick, and on our feet as a little extra moisturizer after tub time. It has a refreshing smell. A very clean citrus smell with a hint of mint. I love it! The smell seams to having a calming affect that just makes you so relaxed. I can't wait to try more of their products!

One of my sisters friends left a tin of this at my moms and i passed by it soo many times and never thought anything of it! haha Damn i wish i would of grabed it up!
Still haven't tried this brand yet, but I'm having a baby in december (my 1st!), so maybe I will have to add this to my list.

congratulations & good luck ruby!the best things that i used when my son was first born , he's now three (that i STILL use)are the badger baby oil (looove it the only thing i worried about is that it's a bottle and when CJ was a squirmy lil one i always worried it would take a nose dive off the table... it didnt), badger baby balm, badger chest rub isnt bad but i like one that i found at the healthfood store better (wise woman chest rub), and one of my favorites (that we still use) is pediacare soothing vapors nightlight (it's better than the vicks plug ins & when they're congested it's the BEST thing).. it's a nightlight w/a lil pad that releases eucalyptus vapors and it makes the room smell like a spa!
go badger go!! i heard amazing things about the sunscreen!!
who loves makeup? me me ME!
Aww, this is such great packaging!
I don't have kids but I love reading all the great product reviews in case I ever do! Plus a lot of these sound great for me even though they are geared for babies... who doesn't want baby soft and great smelling skin?

Kiehls used to make a balm that I swore by. You could use it for dry skin, fly away hair, cracked heels, scarmbling eggs, etc. It was discontinued and I had to be escorted out of the store when I found out. Apparently there is no crying at Kiehls! This sounds like a fab replacement. And BabyLove, when they lift the restraining order, encourage them to put this in a tube as I think it would be a great way to dispense small amounts mess free.
sounds good.
sounds awesome, especially during the drying winter months.
Can't wait to try these products!!!!

Oh, darn it, darn it, DARN IT! I was JUST in a store in Oregon which stocked tons of this brand, and I passed it over because it looked like a kitschy tourist gimmick! I really wish I'd read this article beforehand. Where can I get ahold of this stuff in Washington state? Drugstores? Organic food stores?
love the packaging!
sounds like this would be great for cuticles~
Interesting product.
the ingredient list is amazing! i think i need this in the winter for myself :)

I haven't heard of this product before... but I guess as long as its "organic" it must be good!

I love Badger stuff, if I were to have any kids in the future I'd def use this stuff!!! But it aint happening for a looong time!
I wish it came in disposable single use packs like neosporin does.
Sounds nice, but no baby of mine is going to get a product I myself can't use. Stupid beeswax in everything...

I haven't tried anything from Badger yet. I am a lip balm junkie though so I shall be heading off to their website to see if anything looks good (yeah, cause that's really hard).
