Meg here! Do you ladies know Sheckys.com? It's this cool women's site where they throw these massive shopping and cocktail parties around the country. They're really fun and if you haven't been to one before, I suggest you go!
Claudia is the main dame over there and she asked me if I would be willing to give some of their Sheckter's my thoughts on the hottest summer trend. I don't know about you ladies but I am seeing the neon nail everywhere!

Hi Meg! no i didnt know about sheckys.. i just went over to look and the website is wow~ kinda a bit overwhelming, but will dive in to try and figure what it is all about.. is it basically a magazine style blog? i have no neon colors so far.. oh wait i do have a super bright pink, i love it~! i think the orange would suit me.. and the blue one. :)

I have a neon pink polish that I love! It's by Swedish brand Depend. I also have a very bright orange by them, not sure I'd call it neon though, but still.
Oh I so love the neon blue! I actually went for a pedi last night and picked out blue, but was bummed when the nail tech couldn't use it because it was the bottom of the bottle...so, as always, you are right on top of the trends.
Thanks for the head's up on sheckys.com. I will have to check their site out when I have more time. I loved your article and love NEON NAILS! I only ever paint my toes so I am not shy about a bold look at me color. The pop of color is unexpected and can bring a smile to your face. I have tons but my fav is a bright neon pink. I love pink. :)
I haven't heard of Sheckys before, but I headed over there to read your article. I haven't worn neon nail polish in years and currently don't have any in my collection, but I'm soooo eying the bright blue and yellow China Glaze polishes.
Thanks for the head up about Sheckys. I don't think I will be joining because the primary way to earn points is by attending events. I live in the middle of nowhere, so there wouldn't be any events near me. As for the neon nails...I don't paint my fingernails. I hate the shape of my nails, and I feel like polish accentuates their shape. I do paint my toenails. Right now they are a blue-green color. I also have a bright pink that I like to use. During the winter, I tend to go for red (when I remember and find the time).

I do like neon-pink toes and Essie's vibrant "Pink Parka" is fabulous and fun! If I do it on my fingers,it's just the tips with a clear-pink below to avoid shock-overload :)I like the bright blues and greens for Summer but the citrus-shades leave me cold...I'm on the hunt for a neon-red for an event coming up and need to go stalk the counters! I actually bought YLS (I normally ADORE this brand!) "Ultra Violet" a while ago but it's not an easy formulation to get an evenly-coated manicure with for some reason.I am however more excited about the bottles of Fall 2010 Chanel "Paradoxyl" on their way to me: it's my dream-color and won't be dupe-able from what I hear so I snatched it up when it hit the site! Try as I might,I'm still more of a darling of the dark :)I have heard both fabulous and not-so reports about the incredible Shecky's events and would truly love to be in an area where one's held sometime soon...I can't imagine it not being a great time!

Love it! I'm a huge polish junkie, always buying new colors. I just last week got a bright neon purple that I'm absolutely in love with. I also got a teal that sometimes looks green, depending on the lighting. :)

I did neons last summer because I won a contest and the prize was 4 bottles of super neon Essie polishes! I like neon blue on my toes, but not on my fingers. I loved all the info that mjsred shared with us. Thanks! And I am a member of Shecky's but had forgotten all about it. I joined when I lived in Chicago because they did events there all the time. When I moved back to the DC area I just didn't bother with it because there were never events here. Unless you are the president there is nothing happening here!

I've been to Shecky's Girls Night Out twice. Those goody bags are unbelievable! I get kind of lonely when I go there because none of my friends are into shopping and makeup like me

Shecky's looks like a cool site, but I don't live near their events to earn points. Ah well. I just started getting into nailpolish again (thanks to the Zoya polish exchange :)) and I love neon pinks and purples. I haven't tried neon blues or yellows but I might be able to pull it off on my toes.

I have heard alot of great stuff about china glaze and would LOVE to try a bottle. I always am boring and paint my nails a nude or light pink color :(Lol Mabey I will brea out of my comfort zone for summer and try some crazy neon color!

I got china glaze in bad landing from Meg and I love it !!! I haven't worn any neon colours though because I don't like them. sheckys looks really good but I live in the UK so its no good for me but I would love one of those goodie bags :)

most of my nail polishes are pink... I have a neon green, pink and yellow but I use them mostly for nail art rather painting the entire nail... CG's neon orange looks good, definitely a color outside my comfort zone.

I got a red one from Meg on my birthday! (Great thing to wake up to), and I love how easy it is to apply, and how you only need one coat!
I had never heard about Shecky's but looking at it now, it looks like a pretty wicked website!! I LOVE these neon hues for nail polish. it's nice to see something that is different and BRIGHT and stand out in the crowd. As long as youre not wearing a flourescent yellow shirt with it, I think it's great. I really want these...like NOW!!! Plus theyre china glaze which is even more awesomer!
I love the neons but i have to admit, other than pink I haven't ventured out to try any others. I can't paint my nails any color for work so it's toes only. Maybe I will try another color before the summer is out!

just finished painting my nails this really pretty blue...too bad i got it from target. it looks terrible.
I'm not too sure about the blue but I am really eying the yellow! I really want to go to GNO in Chicago but it's on a Wed/Thurs night so I'd have to take a day off work (since I'm 3hrs away in Indianapolis - and nobody hosts cool events here!)
