INVICIBLE SCAR TREATMENT!

Sun, 05/16/2010 - 11:42am
  • Goddess Granny
  • Face

inviciscarThis may not be the most "beautiful" of reviews but for many, might be the most profound: Goddess Granny has been "testing" this product for a few weeks now and I finally feel I can write a review that will do this product justice... I will start with my "backstory" and we'll chat about this revolutionary product from there. As well y'all know, I review many glam and gaga products so for me to honestly take the time and write about such a clinical and medically evolved product as this, you just KNOW I "believe!"

Around 10 years ago, I had the biggest freak accident you can imagine happen while re-hanging a heavy saucepan lid overhead on my ever so stylish "hanging rack" in the kitchen: the hook swiveled as I went to hang the commercial-weight stainless lid and it came down like a projectile, knocking me across the room with the edge landing smack dab on my face/nose in the process. I will downplay here and only share that it was a horrible experience but one that ended well as I had the connection to and means for an emergency surgery to fix my extremely shattered nose within the four-day window that I was given before it would become almost impossible to correct. I underwent an open rhinoplasty two days later and the cartilage from my ears was used to rebuild my nose which ended up rather nicely thanks to one of the best plastic surgeon's in Texas!

I am SO over all that and although the emotional scars have healed, the redness/scarring under my nose from the involved repair procedure is still obvious and I have relied on my makeup to correct this until recently when I was sent "InviCible" scar treatment to review: I will start by saying that the website is literally a WEALTH of info, testimonials, and answers most questions. My intent is to share with you the results of this product personally and they are rather amazing! I know many of us suffer with some sort of "scar", disfigurement, discoloration, and/or other skin ailment that we WISH we could make better or go away all together and I honestly believe that this single product to be the the MOST incredible one available for precisely these issues!

Created five years ago by Dr. Minas Chrysopoulo, a reconstructive surgeon who happens to live near me in San Antonio,Texas for use during the amazing and life-changing breast-reconstructive procedures he performs on women after mastectomies helping them to become "whole" again both physically and mentally. I don't need to describe what this means as so many know first hand but he also discovered that "scarring" could remain an issue and he set out to create a formulation that, after doing research at the Shriner's Burn Hospital, would truly have a profound effect on damaged scar tissue.Along with a team of chemists and PHD's, the good Dr. came up with "InviCible" and truly has changed the effects and look of scarring forever!

This product, like no other, can be used with great effect not only on scars both old and new but also on discoloration and brown spots, acne scars, burns, and all other types of surface-skin issues that result in a damaging of the outer tissue. It can be used every day and under makeup or sunscreen and results can be noticed in as little as two weeks! The ultimate goal of the product as I see it is to reduce the look of the scar and of course, it does tend to be most effective on scars less than a couple of years old or newer BUT I have seen a profound change in the skin under my nose on tissue that was damaged almost 10 years ago after about a month of continued use.

In a nutshell, this stuff works...and it works without any unpleasant scent or harsh ingredients: it is hypoallergenic and paraben/fragrance free, contains no mineral oil or other known irritants, and is FULL of natural complexes like Vitamin C and their miracle "Pro Biosyn 4" complex which restores the skin's bio-lipid layer and restores elasticity. Not tested on animals either! You simply apply a very thin film 2-3 times a day and STAY OUT OF THE SUN or use sunblock to prevent any further darkening of the offending skin area. I will be 100% honest as we at Meg's are prone to be both good and bad and tell you that there is a "slight stinging sensation" upon application which they describe as a result of the highly-potent ascorbic acid content but it causes NO adverse skin reactions and goes away quickly! A small price to pay for something so amazing and effective, IMO! Contrary to popular belief, Vitamin E actually "causes contact dermatits" in 30% of users and doesn't always help in any way to reduce scarring. "InviCible" doesn't include a single ingredient that is inconclusive or controversial and has no water or preservatives so its real highly- advanced science in a sleek cylinder for sure!

I can attest to the fact that the skin under and around my nose is MUCH less red and requires MUCH less to cover it up than it did a month ago: the texture of the skin has changed and seems "flatter" and more even as well.I see a marked improvement and as I'm very fair, this is huge to me.

I would highly suggest that if you have any skin issues such as I've described or that the amazingly informative and easy to understand site covers in detail that you give this life-changing product a try: it's truly made it's "mark" on my face and I will continue to use it until I feel that the job is finished. The "science of scars" is one I hope no one ever has to get a degree in on a personal level but isn't it fabulous and important that Dr. Chrysopoulo and his team cared enough to develop something that we can truly benefit from without enduring costly and sometimes painful procedures to help minimize the effects of scarring and discoloration on the skin? It's easy to use, feels GREAT on the skin and I believe can truly make a difference for many who hate "something they see" every day. You can see a difference on your face or body and regardless of your level of "damage" I believe this product can help!

If you have an interest or need for this amazing product, do yourself a favor and spend some time on their site reading testimonials and comparing other scar-reducing treatments(some that are mind-boggling to me) to "InviCible": I had no idea what a big deal these issues can be and it truly made me realize that the confidence one can re-gain from this product especially by using it on the face, rivals and might well be the most amazing "beauty product" on the market in every way! I am sold and it's one of the real "miracles in a bottle" available that from my personal experience actually works!

I have some damage on my left jaw---some scarring from one incident and some dark pigmentation.  I want to try this.  I have tried several things without much luck.  I do think that the more confidence we project the more the world relates to us positively--and getting rid of something that I find distracting could be a very positive thing.

GG, that sounds like a terrible accident! Acne scars are my worst skincare enemy - if this worked for you, I ought to give it a shot.

GG - while it might have been a long time ago, it probably left not only a physical scar, but a lifelong fear of cooking!  A scar on the face has got to be traumatic and it is not a moment too soon that a product that seems to help has been brought to us.  Thanks for not only a good review, but one on a product that many of us might not have found ourselves.

I'm pretty lucky in the fact that I don't scar very heavily. All the scars I got in childhood have faded away by my mid-20s. I did have a nasty run-in with some cystic acne a few years ago that left me with a small scar on my chin. I tried some of that over-the-counter scar gel and it did nothing. The scar on my chin eventually faded but I felt pretty bad about myself while it was there. I completely believe something like a scar can really affect your outlook on life. If you look good you feel good is usually pretty correct. If you consider yourself hideous then you aren't good to have a lot of "go out and face the day" in you. Sometimes that can be fixed by actually fixing the "flaw" and sometimes that takes deep psychological help.

I was conned into having a LifeStyle Lift a few years ago.  The doctor told me he could put the scars in my ears.  He lied.  I work with children, and I have the habit of pushing my hair behind my ears to get it out of the way when I bend over to help them.  This has caused a distraction more than once when my little charges ask about the scars.  The scars in front of my ears are white, and those on my neck and behind my ears are still somewhat raised.  By the way, $7000 later, the lift didn't make much difference.  It wasn't worth the scars.  I'm hoping that this product is not too irritating to my sensitive skin, but I'm willing to try anything.  I was considering expensive lazer treatments that I can't really afford,  before I read this.  Any word on if it will work on broken capillaries left over from teenage acne on my nose, or the possible rosacea on my chin?  (No, I don't drink.)

I want this product so bad.  I would beg for it.  I have a scar, well really lots of scars, because I scar easily and second I had a staph like disease called celulitis twice on my chin. Celulitis is what almost too Rosie O'Donnells arm off from a little scrape on her finger.  It grows fast and least a nasty scar.  Luckily mine was caught early, put on antibiotics but it ruined my elasticity an I feel like the left side of my chin is being pulled down which makes me look like I got a left size frown.  I am normally a smiley type of person, so you can imagine how I hate this.  Next time I get a few $$ together, I plan on trying to find and buy this.  Great job GG as usual.

i received this product from meg a while ago... my mum has two huge scars on her knees, unfortunately this product didn't work well on her scar because it was already pretty un-pigmented in colour and it wasn't "bumpy"... so i started using it on my chicken pox scar, although i haven't been using it super consistently (i always forget when i get too tired!)... but i did use it consistently for over a week and the bump DID go down! now i'm gona work it on a few pigmented scars i have :)

After having my baby, I of course still have some stretch marks., I wonder if this would work for marks like that? I'll be sure to check out the site, they're very faded, but I of course want them completely gone! I hate the idea of me in a bikini because of my stomach. I'm so young and people look and me weird because of it.

I have 3 pretty deep chicken pox scars on my face from when I had them at age 5.  I wonder if this would work on 35 year old scars?  I may have to give it a try.  My ds also has scars from an appendectomy and shingles.  I'd like to give it a try on those as well.  Thank you for sharing your story with us.

yes, but i have to keep reminding myself of it.. i find it especially hard when i feel my skin is rebelling and i keep adding scars and red marks to my skin.. i just hate having to wear foundation so it just all shows. lately i have been happy just letting it all hang out though and my skin seems to be better too! maybe because it doesnt have all that stuff on it.

I have a lot of scars, from tiny ones all over my arms that look like white freckles through to some rather savage looking ones on my stomach from a couple of surgeries, I also have some rather large raised scars on my left knee. I'm not that fussed about them ... but lets be honest, none of them are on my face. I do have other issues on my face, namely Vitiligo. But, again, I'm not embarrassed about it. I don't think I would ever spend that much on something for scars for myself, but I admit that if my children or a friend got a scar on their face that took a dent to their confidence then I'd probably buy or suggest trying this.

oh yes I believe it.  I had cystic acne most of my life and Accutane not only cured me of that, but made me a much, much more confident person.  Before I was an Adult Wearer of Braces, I seldom smiled because of my wonky teeth, so yes, fixing outside flaws can have a HUGE impact on someone's life.

How wonderful that you've found something that will help heal your scars, GG!  I can't imaging how harrowing that whole experience must have been.  You're so modest in your writing.  Many would have detailed the whole horrible escapade including the recovery etc and received the deserved empathy and sympathy, but you just left it all out. You're such a strong lady.  <3I hope this helps many others to heal the physical marks they have on their bodies.

I'm terribly scarred.  I scar extremely easily and they are dark and very obvious against my lily white skin.  My legs are the worst - mosquitoes eat me alive and I always have some sort of allergic reaction so I get these giant welts that take forever to heal and then scar.  I have stretch marks that I hate too.  I'd love to have un-scarred skin.  They're offering a 30 day risk-free trial on the website for anyone who is interested.  I just might be.

I have to get my hands on this! I have a couple of scars on my face, which I actually really love as they have 'stories' behind them and they're part of me, but a few years ago I had a mole removed and that's the one scar I'd really love to reduce if I could (though I think I'm the only one who can see it).

A couple of years ago I ran out of Mederma while trying to improve the appearance of my scar from back surgery.  I used my Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion for a couple of days until I could restock.  I never did purchase another tube of Mederma because I was surprisingly impressed with how much the Clinique moisturizer improved the look and feel of my scar!  I used it on my scar til I emptied the bottle, and I was amazed at how much my scar had changed in appearance.  It wasn't shiny or thick (keloid) or a different shade from my normal skin tone.  Even my surgeon was impressed.  I have since had additional surgeries and keep using my Clinique lotion on my scars.  It also works pretty well on stretch marks ;-)

Glad it worked for you.I do agree with beauty only being skin deep, but I also know if I were able to correct my problem skin my outlook on life would absolutely and completely change for the better. I really let my flaws hold me down, and over the past few years I'd say I basically obsess over them. I know that I didn't always dwell on it like this and nothing's gotten worse, it's gotten worlds better in fact, but I just can't see past it anymore. I don't remember what it's like to have a good self-concept and better outlook on life. I'm convinced that my acne causes me to look even younger than I already appear and therefore people don't take me seriously as a result. Maybe one day I'll outgrow this mindset, but I'd much rather be successful in fixing my skin and feel better about myself that way.

I have acne scars that I am really insecure about, I always use coverup. I looked a picture back when I was 13, and I had beautiful, perfect, flawless skin. But I wanted to grow up too fast, and started wearing foundation for no reason at all, and well, Im 20 now, with acne and acne scars because I didnt leave my face alone.I bookmarked this page and I am really considering getting some when I get the money. If it works as well as you say it does, I really would like to even out my face and lighten the scars.
