LADY GAGA STOLE MY DREAM SHOW! SHE INSPIRES MY LOOK LIKE NO OTHER-WHO INSPIRES YOU?
Meg here! I LOVE PUSHING BOUNDARIES! I love expression. I LOVE wearing a beaded head dress to a dinner party. Once I worked at a company and answered the phones. To make it bearable I wore a rhinestone tiara and boa everyday.
Everyone has their hero, everyone has their muse...I love Lady Gaga!
When everyone is wearing beige I try to wear red. I like to add Glitter to my smoky eye on a big night out.
Bodysuit? Yeah, I hang 4 in my closet at all times in case the occasion is called for! The red on my lips that doesn't move is Cosmoholic Rock Star Red
Easy Gaga Smoky Eye? Well just grab a sultry black in Stila Smudge Pots make the line fine and if you mess it up just smudge it into a perfect smolder!
Tarte Cosmetics has the same effect with BRILLIANT on the apples of the cheeks. Subtle sexy shimmer that has me GAGA-OOHLALA all the way!
Lashes? We recommend The Balm Two Timer!
Eyeshadow? Gaga is all about the Urban Decay Moonshine (we think!) Mimic her icy silver with this!
These are just suggestions to let you have fun and explore! Why does it take a "GAGA" for us to be ready to break out of the box and play! I love to wear a tutu when no one else is. I own beaded headresses I put on for play. I like to wear black opera gloves with a black tank-top out to Hollywood! Dude! It's so fun to be free!
Unleash your inner Gaga! Be spontaneous and crazy-even if for a moment. You'd be amazed at how many women compliment your bravery then pass judgement at your statement! You only live once! HAVE A GOOD TIME!
We are behind you! How do you express your inner self?

I just watched that video and I am blown away! As Katy Perry said she lives and breathes her art. I know most people do not like what she does but I am in awe of her! As for me, I'm not really adventurous fashion-wise but sometimes I try to be daring with my makeup. Sometimes I wear a bright red lip or a vampy, almost black plum. I'm bored when people wear makeup just to look pretty, why can't we wear makeup to become another person?
I love Lady Gaga! I love how quirky she is, and how insanely crazy she is! She's pushing fashion and makeup to the edge, and I can't wait to see how far she'll take it next :)
I saw Lady Gaga on SNL. I was amazed at her clothes and the quirky moving solar system she wore. She is talented, she played the piano, cracked jokes, wore a solar system, had musical talent as well as comedic timing. She may not be everybody's cup of tea, but, I like her style and respect her individuality. One of my favorite movie lines is from 1971 Harold and Maude: Harold: I feel like doing summer salts Maude: Go ahead (do summer salts) Everyone has the right to make an ass out of themselves. You can't let the world judge you too much.Go ahead, put on a tiara, wear glitter better yet wear a solar system!!
I express myself through my make-up. I'm not overly expressive with my clothes though.

I'm the first to say that I'm so boring! My clothes and make up are just your every day run of the mill kind of stuff. However, I'm taking my first fashion risk this weekend for my anniversary. I'm 24 now and 20 years from now I'm going to look back and be mad that I didn't flaunt what I have now lol.
I love Lady Gaga!! I really liked the acoustic version of the song, how she performed it on SNL.

Well, I'm a writer so I express myself through my work, but also in photography and clothing--just nothing outrageous. I prefer classic, feminine with a trendy edge here or there as a "surprise"!
I'm not nearly that adventurous, but I will subscribe to the glittery eyes at night, the red shoes with a plain outfit and I'll even wear a bow in my hair occassionally. It does make you feel good to go against the grain once in awhile and I often get compliments on my adventurous choice. Nothing wrong with being yourself!
I had never even heard of Lady Gaga until I was riding around in the limo during my Madonna Inn stay with Meg and the other deliciously exciting writers from Megs! We were in a limo and the always provocative Goddessgranny whipped out a CD she had made for each of us. Goddessgranny put the CD on in the limo to listen to while on our way to the winery and the featured song was by Lady Gaga! I was a fan from that moment on! I said "Who IS this?" and couldn't get enough of her once I got back home! I absolutely love her! I love her the most because she is so out there and such a completely unique woman! I love how insanely creatively flamboyant she is and I envy her total abandonment into a zone most people never go into! I always ALWAYS notice the people who go outside the line and I envy all of them! I go to a shop and there is a woman there (my age) who always has on about 20 different bright shades of mismatched clothing, with crazy socks and insane looking shoes and her hair is always filled with shocking pink and pulsating blue extensions, some braided, some wildy free...she wears mind blowing red lipstick and these crazy veiled hats and most times a pink or blue boa! And her jewelry...tons of sparkly crazy colorful jewlery! I LOVE THIS WOMAN! I said to her "You must have fun every single day of your life!" and she said SHE DOES! How absolutely freeing to be outside the normal lines that society has drawn for the rules of daily appearance! The most exciting, most INTERESTING people are the ones that do as the lines in a song says... "Play your own kind of music...sing your own special song....even if nobody else sings along!" I wish I had that in me!!! I was brought up to ALWAYS be concerned what other people think and that's really stressful, constantly worrying about how people will judge me. For instance, I never wear crazy hats (although I love wearing berets in the winter) anyway...during Megs weekend, when on a sudden impulse, I put on Eleni's hat (as in my little icon photo here) I felt SO special, so magicial, so FUN and it was a moment in time when I got to actually 'feel' how much fun it is to go outside my comfort zones! I need to do it more! Years ago I used to always go dancing at a gay bar with some close friends I have and every time we went there we would get DONE UP - I remember wearing a pink sequined top, a gauzy hot pink skirt, gold stiletto heels and really had my makeup ramped up. I had the best time - why did I ever stop doing that??? I think the reason people LOVE to get dressed up for Halloween is because on THAT day people can get outside of their normal lives and really be something or somebody else entirely! Think about it...wouldn't it be exciting to every day 'dress up' to express the you that you are really feeling that day without boundaries???
Jeanasina!http://jhasleftthebuilding.blogspot.com/
im not really a fan of lady gaga...but its cool that she pretty much gets to dress up whenever she feels like it. As for..im not that adventurous with makeup , so i like to try and do it with clothing...out of majority of my friends im the one who dresses "differently" but i like it, being the the same is boring. :)
wow that video was fun!!! I've actually never watched one of hers before, but love her wackyness at awards etc.. she just does it so well!I love colors myself too and love to mix unusual colors together I also like having a pop of the unexpected somewhere esp if it was made by a smaller company or better yet one of a kind.. like the things you can find on etsy.
who loves makeup? me me ME!
Ok, first off I first saw this vid yesterday. I love Lady Gaga. I admire how she pushes the envelope and I love her makeup and her clothing in this video. I really wish I could wear some of the makeup but I am def trying to change that. I love this song and vid!!! I love how she has that I don't care what you think attitude! I wish I could be more like that regarding clothes and makeup.
I highly admire her confidence....her energy...her charisma :) I think sometimes I am too concerned about what others think.....people like her inspire me to change that :) like meg said....you only live once <3

I was a little underwhelmed by the video--there was a lot of Michael Jackson Thriller-esque dancing, and Lady Gaga has defined herself as being such a creative and eccentric individual. I'm inspired by Gabrielle Reece (she is a gorgeous fashionista, model and athlete--seriously, could she be more awesome? She's fit and beautiful--not "skinny" and wafish. She is healthy and likes sports, but also loves pretty things and makeup)(And I must admit, I do throw on a bit of concealer at the very least, even before a race! That's just who I am, haha). However, my makeup is inspired by everything. I guess I'm mostly inspired by the products that come out--high fashion makeup is hard to carry off in everyday life--and good makeup artists at makeup counters/stores who are wearing gorgeous makeup (this gal at Sephora inside JC Penny has given me fab makeovers, and I just love the makeup she wears as well).

Love Lady Gaga!! She is just so amazing and weird at the same time!! I'm usually not that adventurous with my clothes, since I always get dressed early in the morning when I'm feeling kind of blah. But I still love wearing a hot pink tutu or sequined dresses whenever I'm doing something fun. Makeupwise, I always need to wear something out of the ordinary, except when I go to school (I never have enough time in the morning to do something crazy). I simply can't go anywhere without at least one really colorful eyeshadow or bright lipstick!
I like her music vid even though it's crazy, but love her bravery even more. I am so jealous of that side shot of hers that seriously makes her waist look 2 inches think!
I hear a lot about Lady Gaga but I have no idea who she is or what she does? I guess she's a singer with wacky outfits. My beauty inspiration these days is from fit women. I mean really fit, with defined arms and toned abs.
Hi Wendy! I totally agree with you. I know of her but dont really know what she does. I love fit women and natural and get my inspiration from that as well! Honestly Lady Gaga kind of scares me, her outfits are so crazy....I couldnt get the video to pull up for me at work so I'll have to look at it later.
Lady Gaga is fabulous. I think she's a little nuts, but in a perfectly okay way. I pretty much admire her INSANE confidence to pull off anything. I saw pictures on Perez this morning of her in the air port wearing a dress cut down the front and pretty pin up hair and red lips. Most people couldn't pull it off, but she definitely does. I don't really take any fashion risks, I dress pretty painly. I think if I wasn't plus sized then I might have more fashion options and I'd maybe dress a little differently. I do try to take risks with my makeup on occasion. That should count for something ;)
I LOVE the Lady mostly because of her crazy-ass talent but also that she takes "performance art" to a totally new level! Seriously,I grew up with the likes of Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks and am weary of all the sweet young things who simply get up there and sing although I DO like Britney.:)I know...I still like her.Makeup for me is like putting on a Kabuki face (cousin to Poker Face...) in that I use the products to "express" my moods! I'm more of a "Dita" sort of girl myself but can abslutely step outside the comfort zone when need be.I have been stopped on the street wearing sunglasses and red lipstick (nothing else) and asked WHAT the lipstick was...it's that sort of "defining" that makeup allows! I also love to apply it on others because they then "see" what I see...it's art and it's magic and it washes off peeps s GO FOR IT!!!My clothes tend to be simple but it's free for all when hair and m-up come to play. :)
Oh Meg, you are so inspiring!! I express my inner diva by having beautifully polished nails each and every day in a rang of bright and funky colours. I try to be as adventurous as possible with my eye-shadows too, and wear a really over-the-top bright and sparkley BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT pop of colour every now and then, just to shake things up a bit! Love your suggestions for Gaga products, keep em' coming! :D

I try to be adventurous and bright each day, but someone I just can't do it. I feel amazing with gorgeous smokey browns, so perhaps thats my way of being out there?? Probably not but I feel good! I really love Lady Gaga - he style is just so inspiring and she just takes life by the balls and does what she wants no regrets. She always gives amazing interviews.
When I want to express myself and be confident I wear red lipstick. I love to wear it in the day time...almost more than at night. In the evening I focus more on my eyes. But during the day I love fabulous, inappropriate red.
Hehehe She is crazy and cool and totally wild! I love to create new eye looks everyday and express myself that way! lately I have been a bit more subtle with the lips because my son seems to think I am crazy picking him up in full makeup and PJ's I really Gaga's look in the bathtub! I do think I want to steal that hehehe Though I think that last look with the bearskin rug is awesome- I really dont think I could pull it off hehehe
I love lady gaga! how can someone so gorgeous find herself ugly (i saw her being interviewd once and she said part of the reason for her crazy outfits is to distract from her face because she thinks she is ugly :( i cant see why??!) I express myself with my make up and jewellery (and more and more lately with clothes) if i am wearing clothes that i fint boring i always paint my nails a fun colour wear bright socks and jewellery to brighten everything up!

I really like her. Some of the stuff she does is hit or miss for me (the VMA performance being a miss IMO) but mostly it's a hit! I love her creativity and her unapologetic attitude towards her individuality and her music is just so darn catchy! And she's actually really, really talented musically. She can actually sing, even though a lot of her stuff is put through a machine. If you ever have time, look up some of her acoustic, reworked stuff - it's fantastic.
You should check out this site http://psimadethis.com/ it shows youon there how to make embellished shoulder pads a la lady gaga and lots of other cool stuff.I love the whole hollywood golden era looks eg:rita hayworth, veronica lake etc.I also love the way audrey hepburn did her make up especially the eyeliner ditto for brigette bardot's whole entire look,Ilove the whole hippie chick 1970's look -marianne faitfull etc-for now I think georgia may jaggar totally rocks that look.Ialso ripped off cindy crawfords make up and hair for years I still think its hard for any new girls to eclipe the supers.Keira knightley has a great look v timeless her look fits in any era which is good news for her as an actress.

I really love Lady Gaga.. her music always keeps me upbeat and I love her individualistic sense of style. I'm an artist, and I really appreciate how much thought goes into everything she does to make it so visually exciting. I wouldn't try to emulate her style, but maybe take cues from certain pieces of clothing or makeup, like I do with most things I see. However, I'd kill for that chainmaille two-piece she was wearing. ;) I have a chainmaille bikini top, and most of my friends stop and make some sort of 'WTF" comment when they see it (it's on a dress form with all of my scarves and belts and hats in the master bedroom), but I don't care. I think it's fabulous. :D
i'm such a child of the 80's too, and i definitely agree. it's great to see artists actually being artistic and expressing themselves.
I love me some Gaga! That is such a cool and expressive video. I fear I've let my Gaga slide. I don't take as many risks as I used to. Time to step it up....... definitely! Meg, you are our inspiration.....
I love fashion, accessories make the big difference. Gloves, hats, hair pieces, etc. I usually have a flower pinned in my hair. Or a big flower ring.

I just watched the video and she is beautiful. I like that she fights convention. I wish I were more like that but I am much less interesting (I do not say that to diss myself). I don't wear crazy cloths because I am too scared of what people may say. I wish I had her confidence.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I think Lady GaGa is really strange, and sometimes borderline creepy. I think that it's fun to make a statement sometimes, but she has to dress crazy everywhere she goes. My inner psychologist thinks she's afraid of being herself and feels she has to hide behind crazy outfits. Lol!
Since this isn't entirely OT I thought I should mention it.. Gaga will be on Gossip Girl tonight, singing a remix of Bad Romance (the song in this featured video). I'm addicted to both (GG and Gaga), so I'll definitely be watching! ;D
I'm an Emilie Autumn girl. Give me corsets and stockings. Then I'll doll up with red lips, sheet white face, and eyes like no other. Lady Gaga's music is my getting ready to go out music.
I love Lady Gaga as well. I loved her performance on the VMA's and her crazy costumes!
Lady gaga is beautiful! i wish i was as courageous as her to wear as artistic of outfits as she does! i am a secretary at an elementary school so i wear very run of the mill things. haha no cleavage for me!

I like Lady Gaga. Not a fan of her new song, but I appreciate the fact that she is unqie and not afraid to think outside of the box.
Lady Gaga is so unique. I love to express myself through makeup too.
no offense, but definatly NOT inspired by lady gaga :\sure, she's gutsy and all, but i'm not a sucker for the spotlight like her.
Not Disliked any of her Songs yet, I love the way shes Different, but in her own Unique way. Even though shes so different theres going to be so many girls out there, Trying to be like her, so shes starting something that everyone will end up like. Heh shes an Inspiration, to not let anyone fase what you want to wear, or be like, Thumbs up for this Video and GAGA herself.
xox Luffles xox
I also LOVE a metallic silver smokey eye for going out, but I really can't pull off red lips, especially when I'm going out clubbing or whatnot. I don't remember to touch up and I end up just looking like a hot mess. NOT fun!
xoxo
She is a work in herself. She's soooo amazing and teaches her fans that no one should care what people think of them, it's poointless. I love her to death! My major inspiration is Selena Gomez. She is somewhat unique and is very pretty and her makeup's gorgeeee. Always!
Love this song. Very unique fashion sense though but music is very different to others.
Lady Gaga is weird, but still inspiring. She really does whatever she wants, but still stays classy, and we can all learn that lesson!
Let's all enjoy the Summer sunshine!
i absolutely love everything about lady gaga. i lvoe that she made it ok for us to not just be pretty all the damn time, cant we hahve fun, she was amazing on snl. her lounge style piano bit was fascinating.
A few weeks ago I bought 2 red lipsticks for the first time. I wore one in the house when we had friends & family over, but I still need to wear it out in the daylight. That's going to be a challenge for me, especially since I'm at university 5 days a week & most of the students don't even bother to put on jeans to come to class in this cold weather, esp. in the morning. I'm going to stand out so much, but I know I'll look good no matter what. I'm just not courageous enough.. yet!
I LOVE Lady Gaga's makeup. Can't speak for her fashion sense, but her makeup makes me want to step outside my comfort zone and try new things. I totally express myself through makeup. I dress pretty blandly and masculine, so I love doing crazy eye makeup and trying new things. I love using hot pink fuschia eyeshadow and dark smokey eyes, and of course a nice red lip :D
Haha, I have to admit, I love Lady Gaga's style
