Meg here! I know Costco isn't a drugstore but it does have a drug section. I found a great deal, even better then 100 rolls of toilet paper for $20.00!
It's funny how you hear something once and then you notice it everywhere. It's not like you ladies don't know that I'm a total sucker for a bargain! So of course I own a Costco card. Why pay $4.99 for 6 pickles when I can pay $7.50 for 60 pickles! I mean, right?
We had this amazing review of Natural Upper Canada Salt Scrub written by Goddess Granny. Before I had published it I had gotten another one (underneath) from Sweetassgal. The reviews were both singing the praises.
I'm in Costco and then I spot MORE Natural Upper Canada. Two Hand Repair Balms and a Body Lotion for $13.99!! Full Size! I threw a few into my cart-Buying in Bulk Never Felt So Good! I asked the manager and it appears that this is just a deal for the Los Angeleno's. However, read Sweetassgal's review below and fall more in love with the line.
Sweetassgal here thinking a lot about family and the kinds of relationships that last a lifetime. Meg often talks about how much she loves elderly people...well honey...if you had the chance to meet my Grandparents you'd probably pack them off in your Chanel bag and keep them with you forever. They are simply THE cutest two people on the planet! My Grandpa Milburn Murmon and Grandma Helen Humphries are quite literally "The Notebook"...live and in person. I have never in my life seen two people more in love and completely devoted to each other for decades than these two. They kiss and hug every day and I swear my Grandpa tells her she is his angel each morning. Just seeing the love and passion in their eyes helps you to understand how two people can walk through this world together and continue to go hand in hand in the afterlife.
I try every day to gain inspiration from their devotion and apply it to my own relationship with my husband...Sweetassguy (new to Megs and VERY deserving of this moniker!). He always goes out of his way thinking of my feelings and my needs and so last night I utilized a little something from Megs last shipment to show him how much I appreciate him and know what he likes. Yes folks...my 6'1" and 275 pound husband LOVES pedicures! He loves riding quads, shooting guns, drinking Cap'n Morgan and getting his FEET PAMPERED! There isn't an un-masculine bone in his great big body and yet he'll turn to butter at the thought of a good pedi. Bring on the Upper Canada Naturally Coarse Salt Scrub in Cranberry Moro Orange...the perfect pair to a delicious pedicure and TRUE spa experience at home!
The first thing you discover immediately upon removing the top is that this stuff smells INCREDIBLE. Like dive in face first and take a huge bite incredible! I want to rim my margarita glass with it...but alas...I won't. It is truly a coarse sea salt scrub as the grains are very large and can really take a scrubbing on a set of rough heels or even elbows if the case may be. After a bit of soaking I went in with the scrub and really gave him a good polishing. I used a little too much the first time so start with less and add more if you think you need it. This stuff has staying power so you won't need a lot to finish the job. Just hope you've got the biceps to outlast the scrub! 15 minutes and two oh-so-soft feet later we had one happy husband! Upper Canada is UBER brilliant!
This incredible flavor...I mean scent...I swear I didn't eat it...is also available in lotions, shower gels, lip butter and really, just about anything you can think of. Upper Canada has a HUGE selection of body pampering products each beckoning me from the other side of my computer screen. There is a Fruit Frappe line in Pink Grapefruit Tangelo that just SCREAMS Sweetassgal! I LOVE fresh citrus-ey scents. There is even a Naturally Baby line in Soothing Mint Lime that I am going to HAVE to have for my new niece Olivia Isla (JUST born on my EXACT birthday of 9/10 thank you very much) that is made with all-natural and gentle ingredients that are Paraben, Mineral Oil, Synthetic Dye and SLS free as seem to be all of their lines of product! This is a very extensive line with something for everyone!
Found online at Amazon.com and Drugstore.com they are worth your time to check it out and see what tempts you. I haven't been able to locate everything I've seen on their dealer only website but I'm hoping to soon. Spreading the word always helps get us access to the latest and greatest product because I'm in NEED of some Fruit Frappe. Yet again something SO yummy that I can't eat! Looks like Sweetassguy is going to have a lifetime of delish pedi's ahead of him...and he deserves it...as do I! We love you Grandma and Grandpa! LOVE ON and GLAM ON!

Which CostCo? I live near the one on Los Feliz, does that one have this product? If so, I'm running off to get it tomorrow, I need to buy someone a gift and I was thinking about a nice hand cream for her, this just might be perfect!!

One of the best things to get at Costco is booze. They have really good prices on wine and liquor, which if you're buying a bunch for a party, can be a real money saver. I've seen a good amount of beauty stuff there though, like those Olay Regenerist products and StriVectin.
I'm fortunate to live near a couple Costco's. Each has a different selection of beauty items. They definitely have amazing deals for certain items. Sometimes they are still too rich for my blood but no doubt great for those that want to drop the cash. I've been hearing about more and more high-end brands showing up in ridiculous discount packages. Maybe a Costco stop is in order.

Costco scares me, plus my family doesn't go there anyway. I have never heard of this company, do other stores carry it? I know the crazy low price is probably only at Costco, but these seem like great products and I like to support Canadian companies!

i love costco because they have so many products in there and i love the food samples. hahaha. i haven't been in the beauty aisle in awhile but i usually buy my cetaphil cream there. and i don't know if they still have it at my costco but i bought the BioSilk Silk theraphy for under $12 and it was a big bottle too. i believe they even carry Stila products!

Costco surprisingly has some great cosmetic stuff! The one near my house carries Aveeno, Ahava, and their own brand of mineral makeup. I can't go into that section of the store without being tempted!!
ooh we need to bring costco's to the uk. I love a bargain and i'm really sad as i get excited when things are on offer. My best ever bargain from one of the cheapy discount stores over here was an enormous bottle of persil. It was for 72 washes for £7!!!! you normally pay around £4 for 12 washes. It lasted for months.
There ARE CostCos in the UK! I even went to one in Japan

We have a "Sam's Club" membership - so....dear woman...after the description of this and your words about BULK buying...I'm sure you'll need to 'unload' some of this stuff and I know a woman in Minnesota who would literally watch the mail for this product and then review it for you! I"m just saying... ;)Angie...your MAN is off the charts LUCKY! My God! I have given my husband in the past 4 years a foot bath and lotion rub ONCE! Now let's talk about how many times he has bathed my feet! Right about the now you could hear a pin drop because NOBODY in this house would DREAM about giving me a exfoliation or massage or scubbing! Wow, for some reason the packaging really reminds me of the ecotools line of skin care and lotions!I love Costco. When I know I like something and I'm going to be buying a lot of it, I always buy it in bulk. Even cosmetics! They have sunscreen bundles and mascara bundles and everything you can imagine! There's also food samples if you get hungry. :)

They have it at The Bay. I'd call first though because it's probably only in some stores. I'd check out your flagship/downtown store first. Also take a look at Pacifica. They carry it at my Bay store and it's amazing to.

I got a great deal on BioSilk at Costco, It was $7.00 for the large size. When I took it to the register the cashier said that they were getting rid of that line there and would no longer be carrying it. I went back and bought the 6 remaining bottles.
I love Costco!! I may have to check mine out to see what good deals I can get with bath stuff!
Not Costco, but I have a Sams Club membership and find some great deals there. I can get my Aveeno lotions for cheap and super sized and sometimes shampoos that I like.
No Costco around us! But maybe BJs will hear about this and stock their shelves?
A while back, there were some great Stila sets at Costco (a contouring set, and a 3piece lip gloss set (1 mini, 2 fullsized)) which came in warm or cool, each for around $15. I bought both the warm and cool lip gloss sets, because they were such a good deal. Lately I haven't seen much though. :(

Just got this set at the CostCo (at the District in Tustin, CA) for $9.99 on 12nov09. Love the lotion in the pump, but the whipped stuff in the tubes has a weird way of absorbing that leaves my hands tacky, but not greasy. The instructions say to rub it in until absorbed, yet it tends to rub off if I continue to rub after it gets tacky, kinda like when Elmer's glue dried on your hands as a kid...Like I said, LOVE the lotion! Enjoy! <3
