GROUNDED IN NATURE WHIPPED BODY CREAM IN WHITE CLOVER!
Sweetassgal here popping the cork on some Veuve Clicquot to celebrate ONE YEAR as Megs Green Chi Tuesdays reviewer! It was just last June that I threw my hat in the ring for Drugstore Deals and ended up Green Chi instead. Thank you, thank you, thank you Meg...it has been a WONDERFUL year and I can't even begin to express to you how much you and the wonderful people of this site have enriched my life. I am grateful for your friendship and humbled by your incomparable ability to support and love each other. Now on to one the the BIGGEST lights in my life...my mother! I have been blessed with the BEST mother on earth. In all seriousness I think she was just born to Mommie! And not just to me and my sister (welcome to Meg's ashleereece) but to anyone she comes into contact with. Walk in my mom's front door and you are immediately treated to her down home Southern hospitality. She'll make sure you have a cool drink in hand, a plate of damn good food to eat and advice on how to deer proof your garden by the time you leave! She's just all around amazing and I don't think there's one person who has ever met her that wouldn't say the same. So why was it when I was 25 that I so flippantly ignored some very good advice of hers? Post traumatic stress from my gut wrenching breakup of a 7 year relationship I guess. But still, when Mom kindly mentioned that the ash grey color of my dry elbows and rough feet might not be the sexiest thing for a new guy in my life to rub up to I simply tuned it out. When she showed up to my apartment with a tube of Fancy Feet foot scrub I knew she meant business. Since then I've been almost overly concerned about my elbows and tootsies. I probably make my hubby nuts because just about every night I sit straight up in bed, rub lotion on both and watch reruns of Frazier on Lifetime. It's my thing.
Meg sent me a little tub of Grounded in Nature's Whipped Body Cream in White Clover in my last shipment and I was super excited to work it into my nightly ritual. My daughter Samantha.Provost (welcome ALSO to Meg's girlie...you're as addicted as I am!) immediately opened it and took a whif. AAAAAAHHHHHH was her first reaction and I concur. This stuff smells SO good and the light scent really lingers. I put it on at night and wake up to the lovely scent first thing in the morning. I'm not really good at identifying scents but I know what I like and this is the kind of smell everyone would enjoy. It's light and lovely and not too girlie to be used by a guy. I'm also thrilled to mention its paraben free and made with natural shea butter, glycerin and Vitamin E while also being cruelty free (why is that even necessary these days!). On the moisture scale I'd give it an 8 because it does make my skin really soft but it doesn't seal like an intense or medicated moisturizer would which is also why it doesn't feel greasy. Therefore its a perfect every day lotion...not too heavy...not too light...just right!
It says on the package that its a limited edition so go get some while you can. I can assure you it smells like no other lotion you have (how many bottles of cucumber melon can you possibly have) and you'll enjoy the refreshing White Clover during the summer months. It's $7.95 for a four ounce tub so plan on using it for hands, elbows and feet but not as an all over. It would be too expensive. There is also a body wash I'd love to try in the same scent. I have a habit of falling into a "scent rut" because I have my Juara and Suki favorites but his would be a nice summer change.

Happy, happy anniversary, SAG! I can think of a couple things I would want my Fantasy Mommy to give me other than foot scrub, but when Fabulous Fairy GodSister Meg popped this little jar of creamy goodness into my package as well, my tired, rough tootsies sat up and screamed 'Hell, Yeah!" You must recall that my attentions to my lower extremities have recently been focused on my knee, the right one having suffered the indignity of arthroscopic surgery. So until I was reminded, courtesy of this little darling of a cream, that there is life, and rough life at that, below said kneecap, I had not given the actual legs and feet much thought. No longer. I have truly dreadful feet, by the way, adorned with bunions, hammertoes, etc. So much so that strappy sandals and flip flops are out of the question. In fact, open-toed shoes simply run and hide when I walk into DSW. But thanks to Grounded in Nature, those offending digits are smooth under their decent coverings, and my (much nicer) legs are de-scaled and positively perky. Glam on, indeed, you sweetassgal, and on and on!

I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS I LOVE THIS. DId I mention I have enjoyed my experience with this cream? I used the very last bit of it last night, my pinkie finger is sore from scraping the last bit from the jar. Smells heavenly, sinks in quickly, no residue. I used it on the elbows, knees and gnarly toes. I was so sad that the jar had to be laid to rest in recycling. I received this as a part of a gift basket I won so I had no idea where to get more. And now I DO!!! The scent is so fresh. By the way, this stuff is great!!!
Congrats on your anniversary! I really enjoy your reviews, and this was no exception. I bet this creme sells out fast! I've never heard of it before, but it sounds like a winner. I've suddenly developed rough elbows, and I'm currently using L'Occitane grape polish on them. It's helping, but I want this stuff so I can wake up smelling sweet!

A year!! DOES. NOT. SEEM. POSSIBLE!!! I feel both that it was just yesterday and yet, I can't remember what life was like before Sweetassgal! Just not nearly as sweet. THANK-YOU for such amazing reviews on all things green and good! You are my healthiest habit!Now, this Whipped Cream is just delish, It isn't heavy and is a very nice sensation and scent. It goes on great as a "Keep your spray tan moisturized" cream. I like it espescially on my legs where it dries fast and isn't sticky and will keep my faux summer glow last longer. My favorite summertime go-to cream.
This lotion is delightful! The scent is rich but not sickening, it strikes the perfect balance between yummy and clean. Yummy and clean, those are terms used by all the perfume people, right? I use it on the upper half of my body. Focusing on the backs of my upper arms. The battle with KP continues. Skip even one day of moisturizer and the little bastards come out in droves! The Whipped Body Cream is perfect for any overly dry area (except the face), it soaks right in, but is still thick enough to offer serious moisturizing qualities. Wow, this stuff sounds great... no parabens, cruelty free, what's not to love. The sad part is that they website that is linked to this lotion only has one left, so get it while you can!

I was lucky enough to receive this absolutely delicious whipped body cream in Tropical Fruit! I fell in love with this upon first try! The consistency reminds me of whipped egg whites or lemon merangue meets up with marshmallow cream! It's just heavenly to experience on every level! It goes on smoothly, and sinks in and leaves a definite moisture barrier on your skin! Then there is the fragrance! Tropical fruit! Right now we have three vacation guests staying with us and two of them are men! I brought this out to one of them (very cute guitar playing brother of my husband) and had him try it out! He said it was nice stuff and VERY GIRLY! So, that works for me because I'm a girl! It really makes our skin feel extremely hydrated! I really love this product! I hoard this stuff because I like it so much and don't want anybody else to use it up! LOL!

I haven't tried this, but it is a product that looks if I should try it. I don't know if this makes sense. But I have a deep seeded love for all beauty products. But sometimes I see a product and it calls to me in a way that tells me I can't live without it. I have never heard of a product that was scented with white clover. I mean what the hell is white clover? It is mysterious. When companies come out with scents I have never seen or smelled before it makes me do a dance that enlightens my inner beauty as well as my outer beauty. And the texture of this looks oh so heavenly. It reminds me so much of marshmallow creme. I remember eating marshmallow creme as a kid and my then already beauty obsessed self secretly wished I could use it as a lotion. I should have tried it. But now seeing this product brings me back to my childhood, and can actually let me try out the marshmallow creaminess on my body:D
