CLASSIFIED COSMETICS ERA GLAZE !!!!

Some people go their whole life with the basics. Basic job, basic kids, basic marriage and basic, make-up. Basic make-up being blush, eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick. I don't know about you, but basic makes me yawn. Yes, it may be safe. It maybe expected. It is, most definiteley, basically boring. We only have one life so why not shake it up a bit? Why not do something spontaneous, exciting, unsafe and different. How many points do we accrue at the end of the game if we do everything "expected"? What kind of History book is that going to get us in? Gwen Stefani's make-up artist has said that Gwen's "sparkle" and look is done with Classified Cosmetics ERA Glaze in 24 carat gold. It adds, in a vitamin enriched spray, an added "oomp" and "spunk" to her already firecracker ways. It just takes holding the bottle 8" away from your face. Spraying one shot in a "Z" pattern and blotting it in.
Instant fairy dust. Gwen insists on it. Gwen is not "basic" or "boring". I may just have to give myself a spray! Our tester's received 2 different sprays-24 carat and platinum. They were split evenly and distributed diplomatically. What does the Classified Cosmetics site claim..."Platinum : Introducing ERA GLAZE, the first and only, patented aerosol shimmer to embody subtle day-to-night glamour in a shimmering mist thats flawlessly lightweight and oil-free. ERA GLAZE spray on shimmers have the same vitamin and botanical base as ERA FACE spray on foundation, so you mist your skin with beneficial ingredients that stay fresh for each application. Below is a brief description of each ERA GLAZE shade. 24-Karat: a richly decaden, golden sheen to warm and highlight skin Platinum: a sumptuous, prismatic sheen that illuminates skin'.
Does this make you want to Hollaback girls? Is this bananas? B-A-N-A-N-A-S?

I tested 24 carat gold. I have to say that I found it worth it's weight in it. Healthy, beautiful and subtle sparkle. Left my skin with an expert sheen. I felt airbrushed. Like Beautyzilla, I have to say, come summer months I will be so sublety glamorous it may be hard to take!! PERFECT for a sexy evening out!! PERFECT for a July/August BBQ!! This stuff brings life to my skin without hammering it over the head with sparkles. The wonderful match to a mature woman with a fiery attitude!!
Thanks to my German and English ancestry, I am one pale person. True story - while out and about in the fall wearing a skirt with bare legs (No stockings ever!) a well-meaning girl came up to me exclaiming over my fabulous tights. I had to shamefully tell her that that was just my scary, translucent and glowing skin tone, not white tights. Hee - how mortifying! Now, I have an answer to that problem - Classified Cosmetics Era Glaze in Platinum. It gives a nice shimmer with a little bit of depth on my ghost white skin. I had an easier time using the spray on my body than my face. I used it on my legs and then used a light dusting on my arms and cleavage. It helped defined my arm muscles too! A great pick me up product for those middle of the winter blahs!
Just getting back from two weeks in Maui (I win!), I can verify that all of these lovely ladies' predictions are true- this stuff is AMAZING on a tan!!! And how cool is it to be able to spray on a shimmer instead of dealing with gross sticky lotions or powder that gets all over everything???
Nice shimmer! Nice shine!! This product will be amazing over a yummy summer tan (fake of course!). Look out J-lo, we know your secrets!!
Ok, I could not get the "spraying a Z while holding 8 inches from your face" thing! I kept ending up with gold ears, which was really fetching. But I can't pat my head and rub my tummy either. I got 24 karat which was a super fine gold shimmer. How pretty! I sprayed it on my cheeks and my brow bone, and a tiny bit on my forehead, tip of nose and chin and blended from there. I also used it on the front of my legs and my forearms. BUT NOT ALL AT THE SAME TIME! Becasue of how fine it is, it's pretty subtle. Not a really obvious teenage glittery look that you get from a lot of highlighters. But I still wouldn't wear this during the day unless your a showgirl. As pretty as this is in January, I'm going to love this product even more in the summer. I will defintely be buying this again!
I really like the look 24 carat gave me!! I was to chicken to try it on my face so I used it on my chest and shoulders (thanks for the tip Meg, will try it in that location next time). I used it before heading out to a party where the ex was going to be with the new girl. I wanted to stand out, look beautiful, sort of eat your heart out, I'm better off without you. And this stuff helped accomplish the mission. Got many compliments!!
I'll be honest here and say that the only effect this spray hadwas making me feel like I had a veil of grease on my face and my skin felt dirty. I couldn't really see any difference --I could only feel it. But I'd be willing to give it a whirlas a body bronzer...
I must be honest...I was a bit apprehensive to try this. I barely use foundation and was scared this was going to look like spray paint on my face. I waited until I had a night out on the town to try it. (On this evening I was feeling particularly dull). I sprayed my "Z" and WOW I LOVED the results! It made me sparkle and glow. GENIUS! It was so much more subtle than I expected. My favorite part is that it's the ingredients aren't bad for your skin. I will definitely buy this again. Here's a tip to avoid getting the gold ear syndrome: shower cap.
I tried the 24 karet, and like desertdoll I got gold ears too. But once I wiped my ears clean I noticed a gold shimmery look to my make-up that I really loved. It gave my white Winter face a little color and glow. I will be using this again, and again! And I may try it on my cleavage too (thanks meg's beauty product findings).
I'm a bit of a chicken and have only used this product on my arms. I really like the shimmer it gave me. I will eventually use on my face and see. I'm usually not a big fan of sparkles on my face, but, Meg, you have opened up an entire new world to me!
Here's a Meg Cocktail Hour Not Approved Comment From Anyone. To make your cleavage more inviting spray this product down it. The vitamins will keep your crease healthy. The sparkle will intrigue.
This product is so fabulous. I love it! I’m fair skinned so it’s a must that you keep the can 8 inches from your face or you’ll look like a clown. I had a nice healthy glow after using this product and the stuff doesn’t fade away so you don’t have to worry about your forehead having a ‘glow’ and your chin looking matte and boring by the end of the night.
Looks great on my legs and arms and left them soft and with a great (but subtle) shine... I tried the Platinum...perfect over a tan! Couldn't quite deal with it on my face, though, which is shiny enough... also can't see without my contacts and was afraid where I was spraying. So for me... not on my face but on every other visible surface it is well worth using.
i think the spray looks cool over a tan. (my airbrush one that is) it gives that subtle victoria secret glow, which is my favorite look. the downside is that it smells like halloween makeup and it feels sort of wierd spraying your face with aerosol. maybe they should put it in a toner bottle.
I must say I was a little nervous at first but after I got a grip on myself and told myself i can always wash my face after I used it. And I love it. I have the gold one and it looks great with my blonde hair. I do agree it will look better when I have a little bit more of a tan.
Like ChiChi, I'm one of those ultra pale types. True to the package description, the product isn't oily. I found that I prefered this as a product for my body (legs, arms, collarbone) than directly on my face. Too much sheen for my taste as a face product. I used the platinum color, which surprisingly worked well with my fair skin. I work in a pretty conservative environment, so I see this more as a weekend product than adding a daily glow.
WOW, I indeed liked the look of this product, A LOT. In fact, I wore it 2 nights in a row, and I must confess, I think I used too much (or rather applied it to closely). It's tricky to apply (sort of) - just make sure you keep it far enough away before you spray. It did leave a somewhat heavy feel on my face, which a shimmer powder doesn't do - and I didn't care for that feeling. But - it was worth it. I did like the subtle sparkle of it. I had the platmium and will probably buy the 24 Karat to see what that does. Fun stuff!
Love the product and would buy it again!I sprayed it on my chest and cleavage area and looked hot.The shine is pretty sutle...and like all the other girls said, it's gonna look better in the summer.
What a shimmer! It is nice to find a product that gives you a bit of a glow!It makes you feel as you just got back from the beach.
Call me crazy, but the concept of spraying an aerosol can in my face does not seem normal. I tried to keep an open mind but, I gotta say, this product just isnt for me. For some reason, going to Mystic Tan doesnt bother me, but holding a more concentrated version of it closert to my face gave me the creeps. Sounds like everyone else is a fan of the results; I just couldn't get past the application process.
I've use this product only once, before a photo shoot and wow I look tan and flawless colored skin or maybe it was photo shop. LOL... No really i did look tan. It was amazing. Very nice glow. I have this in Sun Kissed, maybe I'll bring this to Florida vacation in a few weeks.
This sounds fantastic. But I am so skeptical of how it would look with my deathly pale pallor. I guess that I will never know unless I try!
Not for my thin hair.
wow the reviews sound great, ill give this a try
The spray delivery system makes me worry I'll get it on other stuff by accident. (You know how you never notice a stain until later when you need the item most?) It sounds beautiful, though.
The sounds great and your review makes me want to buy it.
I can't say I have ever seen this before. I will have to keep an eye out for it. This product sounds like it gives beautiful results. I'm all for "illuminating the skin". :-)
Can't wait to see what I get! All the reviews sound good though
looks nice! thanks for the review!
if gwen uses it, I definitely must give this a try!
I love shimmer stuff!
sounds amazing!!
Sounds like it'd be okay for use on the body for nights out on the town, but I couldnt imagine using it on the face. I wish the packaging were a little more exciting - I know the brand is Classified Cosmetics and they were going for that sort of look, but it looks like a boring generic home brand
that sounds nice!
that looks awesome! i really wanna try it!
So I guess it's similar to MAC's Fix Plus?
this looks really nice!
How could I have not heard of this? Thank you
seems so great...i want it
Thansk for the review!

Looks like it might be good...
Shimmer and glow this may help my dull days for a pick me up. But does it work as a full coverage foundation too? foundation in a can just is well I'll have to try it. :-)
wouldn't mind trying it
should be called classified instead ha?
this look okay...
looks like an interesting product!
wow interesting. so basically it is a spray highlighter type thingy?
who loves makeup? me me ME!
Oh my this product is right up my ally! I love sparkles and I actually have several bags just filled with different colored glitters! This looks pretty expensive but after all these good reviews I'm just itching to purchase it.
Great review!
basics make me yawn too!
