Thigh High Nylons is the BEST lipcolor I HAVE EVER USED!!!I have pale-ish skin, brown eyes and brown hair.I have started a quest to find a nude, but not really nude,NATURAL,SEXY ! Really there!! but not there lipstick! You know what I'm saying. I wanted sooo much effort on my lips to look like NOOO effort on my lips. I most highly recommend this lipstick with smokey eyes and face highlighter. It is such a stay-on winner but can look slutty if you put everything heavey on at once with the thigh high nylons. The tip is minimal blush, heavy, smokey eyes, this lipstick with no liner but a smidge of ROSEBULD salve. That combo is a HUGE WINNER!!!
Aww - what an fabulously packaged lipstick! Sleek and retro at the same time. I am not usually much of lipstick user but I carried this tube because it was so damn cute. I like a naturalish lip color and I was happy I recieved DB Pink - an incredibly, sheer pink with lots of shimmer. I used it with a nude liner and loved the look. It had little more definition than gloss with lots of shine, plus it lasted so much longer than my usual glosses.
I received the lipstick in Warm Cappuccino. It is a browny pink and looks fabulous with a new lipliner I just got. It is perfect for a daytime natural look which my husband really liked. The texture is smooth and it smells good!
I got the lipstick in the "DB pink" shade, I really love this color! It goes well with a nude or pinky lip-liner. It has such a pretty sparkle to it and smells really nice too (great for a date).
I used the lipstick in the "DB Pink" shade... A perfect color for summer, but a little light for my complexion and for winter. But, it has a great sparkle to it, and goes on really nice and smoothly. I paired it with a darker lip liner (all over my lips), and it was a nice compliment. I also liked that it stayed put for a long time, and I didn't have to re-apply.
I LOVE experimenting with lipstick! My makeup bag contains hundreds of half-used tubes and pots. This simply chic shade of pink called "Satin Sash" will definitely make it into the rotation! Its a nice shade that is perfect for the daytime. It went on so smooth with no caking. My lips tend to be dry in this harsh New England weather, so a lipstick like this one that has a smooth application and doesn't dry out is a winner in my book.
O.K. For real, Meg will tell you! Collagen injections (had 'em) HURT! Restalyne Injections (yes, I've had them in the top lip-hurt)Worse then the collagen!! The Restalyne lasts longer, boy, seriously , you need a STRONG threshold for pain for either treatments! Take it from Meg(whose done EVERYTHING.) The pain is soo bad because they can't numb you up. You see, if they do, the fear is your face will fall asleep. Thus, throwing off the natural lipline of your face. They will all of a sudden be responsible for your droop. Meg has honestly done this procedure more then once. Since I don't get children, I have to say this pain may be comparable to giving birth to them..I am in constant search of a non crippling procedure that will make mt lips look fuller, here's the tip I've found..To achieve a pouty, sexy mouth, emphasize your top lip by dabbing just a touch of gloss in the center. Give it a try! Take it from me. Swear. The other ways KILL!!
Meg's Make-up Cocktail Hour Story.. Alcohol free?!? WHAT? I remember running into Dianne Brill at Studio 54. I was asking her about her shiny lips and she said "alcohol free". I screamed! I grabbed Halston and fled from the premises. What in God's name got into Miss Brill??It wasn't until Bianca called me in the morning to retell the story. My bad. Her gloss is alcohol free. Disaster averted. Kisses Miss Brill- Love you!!
I will preface this by saying that I am not at all a lipstick person- I much prefer gloss. The color I got was Satin Sash- a deep rosy/mauvy pink. The packaging? Adorable. The tip? "Mark your territory!" Well, you can certainly do that with this lipstick- whether you want to or not. I have always hated kisses that stay on a cheek after your lips leave... It goes on thick and feels good, but manages to make my lips look really dry. Adorable packaging, but definately did not change my mind about lipsticks.
Love the packaging and love the lip liner. Liner went on smooth and creamy and it didn’t feather. No complaints.
I have to admit, that I don't wear lipstick that often and when I do I never re-apply. But I made a point of wearing it just last night and I really liked it. It went on so smooth. It made my lips feel great because they're kind of chapped from it being so windy. I even re-applied. Twice!
After reading what the other reviewers had to say I went on a mission to find this product. I figured anything packaged this well HAD to be wonderful! I was not disappointed. In fact, The lipstick is one of the best lip products I have ever used! It's very rich in pigment, choc full of nutrients, antioxidants, humectants and a plumper which definitely delivered. More than one client said their lips felt more hydrated after a few days use. I chose a nude (Leopard Brasserie), a medium tone (Silk Stockings) and a beautiful deep red (Cuban Heel). I applied once in the morning and it was just as gorgeous when I cleaned my face each night. Even adding the Dianne Brill gloss (which is wonderful - see a seperate review for that) the color was still deep rich and hydrataing aqt the end of the day. Miss Brill's lip pencils are just as impressive. While the pencil colors are limited, they're all you need for the entire line. I found them to be not as creamy as most but warm them on the back of your hand and you're good to go! Every purse, office drawer, pro kit needs at least one tube of lip lingerie lipstick tucked away inside!
I was so excited about these lipsticks. I ordered the DB Pink lipstick, and needless to say it doesn't look pink at all. In fact I think there was a mistake with my order, which isn't the lipstick's fault. In any event, I can't rate this well because I don't feel I have the correct color. It does feel smooth on my lips which was great. I may try again, but at £15, it is expensive for me to try and then find out it isn't the right color.
i love lipsticks! although i always find it hard to match my skin tone, or that i'd just really bad at colour matching. I love the packaging of this one! very sheer.

This is a gorgeous tube. Wow, me wants! My favourite lip colours are natural shades. When the packaging is so pretty, it makes the product more fun to use. Super elegant!
This stays put, but is a bit drying on the lips. As always with this company...nice packaging.
I wish I could wear lipstick... My teeth just aren't white enough, so it feels really gross to put on anything that draws attention to them. :(
